Every culture and every country in the world celebrates New Year, but not everyone does it the same way. The countries of the America and Europe welcome the new year on January first. This practice began with the Romans. Julius Caesar changed the date of the new year from the first day of March to the first day of January. People in China and Vietnam celebrate it on Tet. Tet usually comes between January 21st and February 19th. The Hindus in India celebrate the first day of each season, so they have four New Years.
