It talks about why we need to protect the environment and how we can do it. It's super important to take care of our planet so it can be nice and clean for us to live on.One of the things we learned in this unit is about pollution. Pollution is when things like trash, chemicals, and smoke get into the air, water, or soil and make it dirty and unhealthy. We read about how pollution can harm animals, plants, and people. It's really sad to think about all the animals that get sick because of pollution. But don't worry, there are things we can do to help protect the environment! We can reduce, reuse, and recycle. That means using less stuff, using things again instead of throwing them away, and putting things in the recycling bin instead of the trash. It's important to remember to turn off lights and appliances when we're not using them too.We also talked about how we can save water and energy. We learned that water and energy are precious resources that we need to use wisely. We can take shorter showers, fix leaky faucets, and turn off the water when we brush our teeth. To save energy, we can use energy-efficient light bulbs, turn off electronics when we're not using them, and walk or bike instead of driving when we can. It's up to us to take care of the environment so that future generations can enjoy it too. 高一英语必修二unit5作文Title: The Power of Perseverance. In the journey of life, perseverance is often the invisible force that propels us forward, against all odds.It is the steady, unwavering commitment to a goal or an ideal, regardless of the challenges and obstacles that may come our way. This essay explores the essence of perseverance, its impact on our personal and professional lives, and how it shapes our character and destiny.Firstly, perseverance is the backbone of success. It is the determination to keep going, even when faced with seemingly insurmountable difficulties. It is the refusal to give up, even when faced with repeated failures. History is filled with examples of individuals who, through their perseverance, have achieved remarkable feats. Thomas Edison, for instance, failed hundreds of times before he invented the light bulb. But he never gave up, and his perseverance ultimately led to a world-changing invention. In the professional sphere, perseverance is equally crucial. It is the driving force that helps us navigate through tough work environments, compete effectively, and emerge victorious. Whether it's a scientist working towards a groundbreaking discovery, an athlete training for a major competition, or a businessperson striving to build a successful enterprise, perseverance is the common denominator that ties their efforts together. Moreover, perseverance is not just about achieving goals; it's also about the journey itself. The process of persevering teaches us valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and self-belief. It helps us grow stronger, both mentally and emotionally. It shapes our character, making us more determined, disciplined, and focused. However, perseverance does not mean stubbornly sticking to one path, regardless of the evidence. It also involves a sense of wisdom and self-reflection. Sometimes, persevering too stubbornly can lead to wasted efforts and even disaster. Therefore, it is important to balance perseverance with apragmatic understanding of when to pivot or change course. In conclusion, perseverance is a valuable quality that can transform our lives. It is the engine of success, the foundation of personal growth, and the key to overcoming challenges. By persevering, we not only achieve our goals but also become stronger, more resilient individuals. Let us embrace perseverance as a guiding principle in our lives and watch as it opens new horizons and createsopportunities we never imagined possible.。

探索科技与自然的和谐共生In the fast-paced world of technology, it is easy to forget the beauty and wonder of nature. However, as students of English in Grade 11, we are reminded that there is a deep connection between the two. This connection is explored in the textbook unit on "Nature."The unit begins with a poem, "The Road Not Taken," by Robert Frost. The poem encourages us to appreciate the unknown and embrace the adventure of exploring nature. It reminds us that every choice we make, whether it is a fork in the road or a decision in life, has its own unique consequences. This idea ties in with the concept of technology, as our choices in technology also have far-reaching impacts on our lives and the world. The reading passages in the unit further illustrate the relationship between technology and nature. "First Impressions of the United States" by Charles Dickens highlights the industrial revolution and its impact on the natural world. Dickens criticizes the destruction of nature caused by unchecked industrialization, calling for a balance between progress and preservation.Similarly, "The Dam" by Wendell Berry tells the story of a community's struggle to decide whether to build a dam to generate power or to preserve the natural beauty oftheir river. This story emphasizes the importance of considering the long-term consequences of our actions and the need for sustainable development. The writing assignment in this unit asks us to compare and contrast the ways that technology and nature are represented in two different texts. This task encourages us to think critically about the role of technology in our lives and its impact on the natural world. It also challenges us to consider how we can use technology responsibly to protect and preserve nature. In conclusion, the unit on "Nature" in our English textbook serves as a reminder that technology and nature are not separate entities but are interconnected. We must approach technology with caution and responsibility, ensuring that our progress does not come at the cost of destroying the natural world. By embracing the harmonious coexistence of technology and nature, we can create abetter future for ourselves and the planet.**探索科技与自然的和谐共生**在科技飞速发展的时代,我们很容易忘记自然之美和奇迹。

As man in the modern age, our moods are as ehangable as the cars coming and going on the super-high way. A favor from a neighbour, a kiss of a child, a praise from others are like warm sunshine that makes us comfortable. Bat a rough word from a stranger, a false product bought from the store, or an insulting remark in fun would put you in a bad mood and make your heart sink.A good mood makes one happy, energetic and creative. I was once shut in an elevator for one and a half hours. I had to phone for help. Eventually I was released, it was fun because I was in a happy mood. Otherwise I would have felt miserable.A bad mood is bad enough to cause you to lose self-confidence andleaves you helpless with all your worries and troubles in mind. More often than not, we are in a mixed mood. Sometimes we are happy and high-spirited. Sometimes we are in low spirits. At this time we have to take courage and have a change of mood.A good mood will accompany you on your way to the palace of success, to the chamber of love and to pleasure and barmony in life. With a happy mood, we can live a more substantial life, one that is more interesting and meaningful. So, always remember to keep a happy mood wherever you go or whatever you do.篇2Everyone dreams about the future. I also have a dream about my life in 20 years. I will live inShanghaiwith my families because we like it very much. It will be more beautiful. I will teach in a middle school. I will be a good English teacher. I will love my students, and my students will love me, too. We will be good friends.I will do sports with my students every day. Swimming and running will be my favorite sports. I will be healthy and strong. There will be more robots everywhere. They will help us do many things. I believe we will have more time to study and play. This is my future dream. What do you think of it?篇3Music is an important part in my life,I even cant live without music.Actually,I like many kinds of music,Id like to talk about my favorite music here.Well,I like Irish folk music best,New age is Irish style, and its mixes some morden melody,it sounds very nice and pure, can bring you into the never land and dream land, just relax, and forget all the problems.I like Enya, she is a very famous New age singer, her song just like the voice of heaven, her song is as nice and beautiful as herself!Im not keen on American pop songs, they are terrible for me!The melody is not soft and nice at all!So fast and strong beat, too exciting, and cant hear them clearly.I cant stand the strong beat, that nearly make me fainted! In a word, music has an very important place in my life.As for the importance of music to my life,I think you can guess,it just like meals and sleeping,I cant live without it.Does anyone want to take it away from me,Im gonna fight him and never give up!。

人教版高一英语必修二第五单元的作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationHi, my name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I just had the best summer vacation ever! It was so much fun and I got to do so many cool things. Let me tell you all about it!It all started on the last day of school. The teacher said "Class dismissed! Have a great summer!" and we all cheered and ran out of the classroom. Finally, no more homework or tests for a whole three months! I was so excited. The first week of vacation, I just stayed home and played video games all day. My mom kept telling me to go outside and get some fresh air, but I didn't listen. I was having too much fun battling zombies and racing cars on my games. I beat the high score on my favorite game and got to the next level. Yeah! But after a while, I got a little bored of just playing games. So the next week, I asked my parents if I could go to summer camp. They said yes! Summer camp was awesome. We went swimmingevery day in the lake, made arts and crafts, sang songs around the campfire, and went on nature hikes. I even got to sleep in a cabin with my friends. We told ghost stories and made so much noise that the camp counselors had to tell us to be quiet like a million times. Haha! One of the coolest things we did at camp was the talent show. I performed a magic trick where I made my friend's pencil disappear. Everyone clapped for me and said I was the next Harry Houdini. After the show, we had a big camp dance party and I busted out my best dance moves. I'm a really good dancer, you know. After two fun weeks at camp, it was time to go home. But the fun wasn't over yet! My parents took us on a trip to the beach for a week. We built the most epic sandcastle ever and had competitions to see whose castle could withstand the waves the longest. I was the champion sand architect! We also went boogie boarding, collected seashells, and played beach volleyball. And we couldn't leave the beach without getting ice cream from the boardwalk. I had a triple scoop cone with chocolate, strawberry, and mint chip flavors. So delicious! One night, we had a big beach bonfire and made s'mores. Have you ever had a s'more before? It's a roasted marshmallowand a piece of chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers. So sticky and gooey and yummy! We sang silly campfire songs too, like the one about the shark eating someone's leg. Haha, it's a really funny song. After our beach trip, we went back home for the last few weeks of summer. I mostly just hung out with my friends from the neighborhood. We had water balloon fights, played basketball at the park, and rode our bikes all around. We even put on a play for our parents in my backyard, charging them 25 cents to watch. I was the lead actor, of course!Well, that was my awesome summer in a nutshell. It went by so fast though! Before I knew it, it was time to go back to school and get my new textbooks and school supplies. I felt a little sad that summer was over, but I'm also excited to see my friends again and learn new things. Fourth grade, here I come!So that's my summer vacation story. I hope you had just as much fun as I did over the break! Being a kid is the best, isn't it? Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go turn in my summer reading log to get a free pizza from the local library...篇2My Unforgettable Summer VacationSummer vacation is always the most exciting time of the year for me. No school, no homework, and endless possibilities for fun and adventure! This past summer was particularly unforgettable, and I just have to share all the amazing things that happened. It all started on the first day of vacation when my parents surprised me with tickets to a summer camp in the mountains. I was over the moon! I had never been to a summer camp before, and the idea of spending a whole month away from home, surrounded by nature and making new friends, filled me with both excitement and a little bit of nervousness. The journey to the camp was already an adventure in itself. We had to take a bus for several hours, winding through the most beautiful mountain roads I had ever seen. The scenery was breathtaking, with towering peaks, lush forests, and crystal-clear streams. I couldn't stop staring out the window, trying to take in every single detail. When we finally arrived at the camp, I was in awe. It was like a little village nestled in the heart of the mountains, with cozy wooden cabins, a sparkling lake, and endless hiking trails. The counselors greeted us warmly, and I immediately felt at home. The first few days were a whirlwind of activities. We went hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, and even tried our hand at archery. I was terrible at first, but the counselors were so patient and encouraging that I gradually improved. Every evening, we gathered around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and swapping stories. One of the highlights of the camp was the overnight camping trip. We hiked deep into the forest, carrying our backpacks and setting up our tents in a secluded clearing. As night fell, we huddled around the campfire, gazing up at the star-studded sky. It was the most magical experience, being so close to nature and disconnected from the distractions of the modern world.During our time in the wilderness, we learned invaluable survival skills, such as how to build a shelter, purify water, and identify edible plants. The counselors were true experts, and their knowledge and passion for the great outdoors were contagious. But the camp wasn't just about outdoor adventures; it was also a place where I made some of the best friends of my life. We came from different backgrounds and parts of the country, but we bonded over our shared love of nature and the desire to explore the world around us.One of my closest friends was a girl named Emily. She was a year older than me, but we hit it off instantly. We would stay up late in our cabin, whispering and giggling, sharing our hopes and dreams for the future. Emily taught me how to braid friendship bracelets, and we exchanged them as a symbol of our bond.As the month drew to a close, I found myself feeling a strange mix of emotions. On one hand, I was excited to go home and see my family again, but on the other hand, I was sad to leave this magical place and all the wonderful friends I had made. The final night at the camp was a bittersweet celebration. We had a talent show, where each of us showcased our unique skills, from singing and dancing to stand-up comedy and magic tricks. It was a night filled with laughter, tears, and the realization that we had all grown so much during our time together. As I boarded the bus the next morning, clutching my backpack and trying not to cry, I knew that this summer camp experience had changed me forever. I had discovered a newfound love for nature, a deeper appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, and a realization that true friendship can transcend any boundaries. Now, back home and settled into the routine of school, I often find myself daydreaming about those carefree days in themountains. The memories of the camp are like a treasured keepsake, something I can always turn to whenever I need a reminder of the beauty and wonder that surrounds us.Who knows, maybe next summer I'll have the opportunity to go back and relive those precious moments, or perhaps embark on a new adventure altogether. One thing is for certain, though –the lessons and friendships I forged at that summer camp will stay with me for the rest of my life.篇3Hi there! My name is Tommy and I'm a 5th grader at Sunny Elementary School. I hope you're having an awesome day! Today, I want to share with you some of the fun stuff I learned about in my English class. We've been studying Unit 5 of our textbook, and it's been a blast! The unit is all about different ways of living and how people around the world have different customs and traditions. It's so cool to learn about other cultures and see how diverse our world is. One of the first things we talked about was housing. Did you know that in some parts of the world, people live in houses made of ice? Yup, real ice! They're called igloos, and they're built by the Inuit people who live in the Arctic regions. Can you imagineliving in a house made of ice? It sounds chilly, but the igloos are actually pretty warm inside thanks to the way they're designed. We also learned about different kinds of homes in other places, like the traditional houses in Japan called "machiya." They have these cool sliding doors called "shoji" and beautifully decorated interiors. And in Africa, there are these amazing mud huts called "rondavels" that are round and have thatched roofs. They look like something straight out of a fairy tale! But housing isn't the only thing we talked about in this unit. We also explored different cuisines and foods from around the globe. I'll be honest, some of them sounded a little weird to me at first, like the French dish ca lled "escargots" which is actually… wait for it… snails! Yuck! But then our teacher explained that in many cultures, snails are considered a delicacy and are prepared in really tasty ways. I'm still not sure if I'd want to try them, but I respect that different people have different tastes. One of my favorite parts of the unit was learning about different festivals and celebrations. There are so many cool ones out there! We read about the Holi festival in India, where people throw colorful powder and water at each other to celebrate the arrival of spring. It looks like a huge, vibrant party! And then there's the Day of the Dead in Mexico, where people honor theirdeceased loved ones with elaborate altars, food offerings, and celebrations. It might sound a little spooky, but it's actually a beautiful way to remember those who have passed away.Speaking of celebrations, we even had our own little party in class to experience some of the customs we learned about. Our teacher brought in traditional Chinese mooncakes, and we got to try them while learning about the Mid-Autumn Festival. They were sweet and delicious, and we had a lot of fun trying to read the intricate designs on them. One of the coolest things we did was learn about different forms of traditional dance from around the world. We watched videos of people performing dances like the hula from Hawaii, the flamenco from Spain, and the bharatanatyam from India. The costumes and movements were so colorful and expressive, and it made me want to get up and dance along! But my favorite part of the whole unit was when we had a special guest speaker come to our class. It was a lady named Mrs. Zhang, and she was originally from a small village in China. She told us all about her childhood and what life was like growing up in a rural area. She even brought in some traditional Chinese handicrafts and taught us how to make simple origami figures. Itwas amazing to hear her stories and learn about her culture first-hand.Overall, I have to say that Unit 5 was one of the most interesting and eye-opening units we've covered so far. It really made me realize how big and diverse our world is, and how many cool traditions and customs there are out there. I can't wait to keep learning about different cultures and maybe even travel to some of the places we studied one day.Well, that's all I have to share for now. I hope you found my little essay interesting and that you learned something new, too! Learning about other cultures is so much fun, and it's important to be open-minded and respectful of different ways of life. Until next time, stay curious and keep exploring the amazing world around us!篇4My Summer VacationYay! Summer vacation is finally here! No more waking up early, no more homework, and no more boring classes. It's time for fun, fun, fun!The first week of vacation was kind of boring though. My parents were still working, so I had to stay at home with my grandma. She's really nice, but also really old. Like, dinosaur old! She can't do anything fun. All she wants to do is watch her soap operas and take naps. Booor-ing!But then, my parents took some time off work and we went on a vacation! We drove for what felt like a million years to get to this place called Miami Beach. I'd never seen so much water in my whole life! The ocean is huge. Like, hugely huge!We stayed at this really cool hotel right on the beach. From our room, I could see the bright blue water and feel the warm breeze. It was paradise! Every morning, I ran straight from my bed onto the sand. I spent hours building sandcastles, burying my dad in the sand (he didn't like that too much!), and jumping over the waves. The ocean water was so salty, but I didn't care. I was having too much fun.In the afternoons, we went pool-hopping. Our hotel had the best pool ever - it was the size of a lake and had these awesome waterslides and a lazy river. Whenever I got hot from playing in the sun, I just cannonballed into the cold pool water. Ah, that felt so refreshing! The hotel also had a kids' club with a million different activities every day. One day, I learned how to make beaded jewelry. Another day, we went on a nature walk and saw wild iguanas! Another time, there was even a magic show. The magician made a bunny appear out of thin air! How did he do that?My favorite activity though was the surfing lessons. My instructor was so cool - he was tan with sun-bleached hair and seemed to have lived his whole life at the beach. He taught me how to paddle out and pop up on the board. Even though I wiped out a million times, I didn't care. I was determined to become a surf pro by the end of the week! The nights in Miami were just as fun as the days. Every evening, there were outdoor movies on the beach. We brought our blankets and snacks and watched Disney movies under the stars, with the ocean waves gently lapping at the shore. Magical!Other nights, we went exploring downtown Miami. I'd never seen so many bright lights and colors! The city was alive with music, street performers, and people out having fun. We went salsa dancing one night (well, my parents danced and I jumped around crazily). Another night, we ate at the most delicious Cuban restaurant. I'd never tasted such flavorful rice and beans!Too soon, our week in Miami was over. I was so sad to leave the warm sunshine, sandy beaches, and refreshing pools behind. But I made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. On the car ride home, I daydreamed about becoming a marine biologist and living at the beach forever. A kid can dream, right? Now that I'm back home, summer still isn't over. I'm going to camp next week to go hiking, canoeing, and make some new friends. I also can't wait for my best friend's birthday pool party at the end of the month. We're going to have a massive water balloon fight!Summer vacation is the absolute best time of the year. No school, no homework, just fun from morning till night. I can't wait for next summer so I can go on another amazing adventure! That's it - an essay of around 2000 words about summer vacation, written from the perspective of a primary school student. I tried to capture a youthful, excitable voice and included lots of fun details about summer activities. Let me know if you need any clarification or have additional requirements!篇5My Favorite Animal FriendsHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about some of my favorite animal friends from around the world. Get ready to learn some fun facts!Let's start with my absolute favorite - the giant panda! These black and white bears are so cute and cuddly looking. Did you know that pandas are really bad at climbing trees? It's true! Their bodies are too big and heavy. Instead, they mostly just sit around and eat bamboo all day. I guess that's not such a bad life after all!Pandas live in the mountains of central China. The bamboo forests there are their natural habitat. Sadly, those forests are shrinking because of things like forest fires and people cutting down the trees. That's why there aren't very many pandas left in the wild anymore. I really hope we can protect their homes so the pandas never disappear forever. My next favorite is the mighty African elephant! Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. An adult male can weigh over 6 tons - that's as heavy as a big truck! Despite their massive size, elephants are actually quite gentle giants. They just want to roam free, eat lots of yummy plants, and stay together as a close family herd.Elephants use their long trunks like a hand to grab food, drink water, and even give themselves a shower. Their big flappyears help keep them cool in the hot African savanna. Baby elephants are just about the cutest things ever with their awkward, wobbly walks. I'd love to pet and play with one someday!Sadly, some people kill elephants just to take away their ivory tusks. That's why there are less and less elephants in the wild now. Poaching is wrong and needs to stop so these incredible creatures don't end up disappearing like the woolly mammoths did long ago.How about something in the ocean next? One of my top picks is the amazing killer whale, or orca! Don't let the name scare you - killer whales are actually part of the dolphin family. They are considered one of the smartest marine animals.Orcas are apex predators, meaning they rule over everyone else in their habitats. A pod of killer whales will work together to hunt down big prey like seals, sharks, and even whales much bigger than themselves! They use clever teamwork techniques like launching a seal off an ice floe or flipping a whale calf out of the water.Even though they are fearsome hunters, orcas almost never attack humans in the wild. In fact, there's no record of a killer whale killing a person who didn't provoke them first. How cool isthat? With their striking black and white bodies and impressive hunting skills, orcas are truly the kings and queens of the ocean.Next up, we're flying all the way to the rainforests of South America to visit some curious little guys - tree frogs! These tiny amphibians come in some of the brightest colors found in nature like red, yellow, green and blue. Their beautiful patterns help camouflage them in the dense jungle foliage.Tree frogs have incredible sticky toe pads that allow them to climb up smooth surfaces like glass or plastic. They also have very unique calls that sound like funny bird-like croaks and trills. At night, the male frogs all sing together hoping to attract a mate. I bet it would be fun to record all their different musical calls! Some tree frog species are sadly endangered due to habitat loss and a deadly fungus disease. Chopping down the rainforests destroys their homes, while the fungus causes their skin to slough off until they can no longer breathe. I hope scientists can find a way to save these special little hoppers before it's too late. Our final stop is down under to the land of Oz - Australia! One of the most well-known animals from here is the koala bear. Despite their name and bear-like appearance, koalas are actually marsupials like kangaroos. That means the baby joey developsinside its mom's cozy pouch after being born at an early, jellybean stage.Koalas may look cute and cuddly, but they are not very friendly or sociable. They're loners who prefer to sleep up to 20 hours per day lounging in eucalyptus trees! These trees provide both their home and their only food source - eucalyptus leaves. I guess you could say koalas are professional nap-takers and professional couch potatoes all rolled into one!Sadly, koalas face many threats like habitat loss, dog attacks, and diseases. Climate change is also making heat waves and droughts more extreme, which damages their tree habitats. We need to help conserve the dwindling koala population before it's too late for these iconic Aussie critters.Well, that's it for my list of favorite animal buddies from around the globe! I love learning all about the wonderful and diverse creatures we share this planet with. From the bamboo forests to the deepest oceans, there are so many cool critters out there just waiting to be discovered and appreciated.I think it's really important that we take good care of the environment and protect animal habitats. Without their homes and food sources, many species could vanish forever. That wouldbe such a sad loss for our world. Let's all do our part to be kind to nature and its inhabitants.Animals bring me so much joy and happiness. I hope you enjoyed reading about my favorites as much as I enjoyed writing about them. Stay curious, keep exploring, and most of all - keep on caring about this amazing Earth we all call home!篇6The Best Summer Vacation Ever!Hi, my name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just had the most amazing summer vacation and I can't wait to tell you all about it! It was seriously the best summer ever.It all started a few weeks before school let out for the summer. My mom asked me what I wanted to do over the break.I told her I didn't really have any ideas since we couldn't afford to go anywhere fancy. She said that was ok, we could have adventures right here in our city! I was a little disappointed at first, but then she told me her big plan.Mom's idea was for us to spend the summer being "tourists" in our own hometown. She got maps and guidebooks and made a whole list of all the cool places we could visit - museums, parks, historical sites and more. I have to admit, it sounded way more fun than just sitting around the house all day. The best part was we would take the bus and subway everywhere, just like real tourists! When summer finally came, we were ready. First up was the Natural History Museum. I always thought that place was kind of boring, but not anymore! The dinosaur exhibit was so awesome, with huge skeletons and fossils and really neat videos explaining all about them. My favorite was the T-Rex - those teeth were ginormous! We spent half a day just exploring that one part of the museum. The next few days, we went to a couple of art museums. I'm not usually a big fan of just staring at paintings, but these were actually kind of cool. The modern art one was the best, with all the weird abstract pieces made out of random objects. My mom tried to explain what they represented, but I just liked looking at the strange shapes and colors. We also saw some old sculptures that were pretty neat. Then it was time for some parks and outdoor stuff. We hiked all around the big park on the north side of the city, where I'd never really explored before. There were tons of cool trails, playgrounds, a lake with ducks, and even an ancient garden. Theplayground was kind of babyish, but skipping rocks into the lake was fun. We had a picnic lunch under some huge trees that must have been hundreds of years old! I also really liked the garden part, with all the beautiful flowers, ponds and little bridges. It felt like we had traveled back in time to ancient China. The next weekend, we took the bus waaaay across town to a neighborhood I'd never been to before. It was the Old Town historical district, with lots of buildings from like 300 years ago when our city was first founded. We walked around the little alleyways and shops, and stopped to sample lots of delicious snacks I'd never tried. My favorite was the fresh lychee fruits - they were so sweet and juicy! We watched artists doing traditional handicrafts too, like woodcarving and calligraphy. I even got a little souvenir - a beautifully painted fan.During the weekdays when Mom had to work, I went to day camp at the community center near our apartment. There were all kinds of fun activities like swimming, arts and crafts, sports, even some simple coding and robotics which was cool. But the best part was going on field trips! One day we visited a huge science museum and got to do experiments and see shows at the planetarium. Another time we went to an amusement park and went on a ton of rides - the rollercoasters were my favorite, withall the crazy loops and drops. We also went bowling, ice skating, and to the top of a really tall tower with amazing views of the whole city. My summer was shaping up to be pretty epic after all!As the weeks went by, we just kept checking fun destinations off our list - historical temples, skyscrapers, street food markets, even a baseball game. Every day was a new adventure. We rode pretty much every type of transportation you can imagine - buses, subways, taxis, even a fun little boat tour along the river. I was getting pretty good at using maps and subway schedules too. Whenever kids from my class asked what I did that day, I could rattle off some really cool and interesting experience. I felt like I knew my city way better than before.Too soon, it was the last week of summer already. For our final few days of vacation, we didn't go anywhere new, but just revisited some of our favorite spots - the ancient garden, the modern art museum, and that amazing Chinatown neighborhood. We had one last。

高一必修二英语单元作文高一必修二英语单元作文1Look out, there are only concave ground skin, large swaths of forest are cut down, become people's life wood products. People have been displaced by herds of animals for their own sake. It's not a false fantasy, it's a bloody fact.Once upon a time, many animals and plants in the world were destroyed, and so many animals and plants were endangered. Why? This is all because human beings are cutting trees and destroying the ecological environment, which is the root cause.Land resource is one of the three major geological resources (mineral resources, water resources, land resources) and is the most basic resource and labor object of human production activities. Human land use degree reflects the development of human civilization, but also cause direct damage to the land resources, the main show is unreasonable reclamation plant caused by soil erosion, land desertification, soil secondary salinization and soil pollution, soil and water loss is particularly serious, but facing the world today and a serious crisis. It is estimated that the amount of topsoil in the world's arable land is about 23 billion tons per year. Some argue that acid rain is a silent crisis, and the worst environmental threat we've ever seen, an invisible enemy. This is not alarmist. As industrialisation and energy consumption increase, acid emissions are also increasing, and they enter the air, forming acid rain through a series of functions.Although the red tide has been around since ancient times, with the rapid development of industrial and agriculturalproduction, water pollution is becoming more and more serious, and the red tide is becoming more and more serious. Since the first report in 1933, there have been 194 large-scale red tides since 1994, including only four in the 1960s and 157 in 1990. Oil pollution is very harmful to water quality and aquatic life. The oil that floats on the surface of the water can quickly spread, forming an oil film, which prevents the surface from contacting with air, and reduces the dissolved oxygen in water. Oil contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which can be harmful to human health after the accumulation of aquatic organisms. Sulfur dioxide is mainly produced by burning fuels such as coal and fuel, followed by nature, such as volcanic eruptions and forest fires. Sulfur dioxide is strongly irritant to the conjunctiva and upper respiratory tract of the human body, but can be damaged by inhalation tube and can cause bronchitis, pneumonia and even pulmonary edema respiratory paralysis. In the short term, the mortality rate of the elderly or chronic patients with the concentration of 0.5mg/m3 air is higher and the concentration is higher than 0.25 mg/m3, which can aggravate the condition of the respiratory diseases. The number of people with prolonged exposure to 0.1 mg/m3 of air was increased. In addition, sulfur dioxide can cause corrosion, peeling, fading and damage to metal materials, housing construction, cotton spinning fabrics, leather paper and other products. It can also turn yellow or even die.Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.高一必修二英语单元作文2On the night of a full moon, the mother of the earth sighed and asked, "what's wrong with you mother earth?" The earth mother to tell sister moon bitter: "in the last few years, I for thebenefit of the eyes, raising the human children don't know to protect the environment, now I am black and blue, not know that there are a few years of life!""I remember that I used to be full of colorful flowers and a faint fragrance, and that was a very delicious smell.""But now, the big chimney smoking every day in the factory, the sky was black smoke hung over. These not only pollute the air in the exhaust, and the whole family of plant and animal life to me is a serious threat, this also includes the human of life! Now human life rich, almost every family bought their own cars, car emissions of exhaust gas, let I breathe heavily however, coupled with reckless deforestation, they clearly know a tree is a small oxygen plant, trees can absorb harmful substances in the air, and to the point of hollowing out is deforestation. More let I can't stand is excessive open arbitrary mining in my body, especially those individual illegal small coal mine, regardless of me artery or vein, install the machine will start, I really can't stand it!" Mother earth is now a tearful, poor thing! The sister said, "mother earth, you have so many difficulties! I always thought that you have so many children, you will live happily!" Speaking of this, mother earth was even more sad, and she burst into tears. "You should give your children some color to see," she said. "I haven't thought about it, how can I have the heart to open a knife to my own child? I really can't do it!"Friends, listen to this dialogue. What did you think of? Do you think it's urgent to save mother earth? So let us all the children of the earth, who are raised by the mother earth, be informed, and act quickly, save our mother earth!高一必修二英语单元作文3As we all know, the environment around us is getting worseand worse. In some places we can't see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills. Bird there is less and less fresh water in the world. Some people even have no clean water to drink. So I think we must do something to protect the environment. But what can we do? How to protect our environment? For example, we can go to school on foot or by bike instead of taking a car. We had better use shopping basketbets instead of plastic bags when we go shopping. We should use both sides of the paper when we write. Do't use paper cups. At our school dinning room, use our own bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones. We can reuse the water and save the electricity. In a word, if everyone pays more attention to ourenvironment, there will be less pollution and our life will be better."There is only one earth", I hope everyone will protect our environment well.高一必修二英语单元作文4In an interview with the Nobel Prize to award conference, a reporter to interview one of the scientists, asked: "do you think of in which university and which lab knowledge's most important to you?" Scientists answer: "kindergarten/" other scientists also agree that in the kindergarten learn the knowledge of the most important, where the teacher taught us to love the nature, observing nature. This reminded me of a text I had learned in sixth grade, called "just one earth." Yes, because there is only one earth, so we, as children and children of the earth, should be more protective of our mothers. Society always advocates the love of nature and the environment, but there are several people who can really do it. Do we really want to wait for our mother to be blackened before we wash her? I thought it was too late. One gutter stinks, road street, the road is full of garbage, oneby one old dirty trash can shake with the wind, forest by people are eating... In the face of all this, people should explain. To be honest, sometimes, I felt some news in the TV do very hypocrisy, take ZhaoAn news, the wind a leader to lead the masses to clean a gutter, news is the leading up to the hero, still have a lot of gutter ZhaoAn, everywhere, has also been plagued by people of pick up is always take the gutter ZhaoAn news, I am not in denial ZhaoAn news, just some news very boring. The protection of the environment cannot always be spoken by words, not actual actions; Some people unknown to contribute to the environment, work hard, if I were a reporter, I'd rather go to shoot them, with their deeds to call for people, to make our environmental consciousness enhancement. With our neighbors, for its part, the environmental protection consciousness is bad enough, in the courtyard of their house has a ditch, has been rotten for many days, sometimes affects all of us can't sleep, but they still pretend as if nothing happened, originally clean up early on, all things that he did not, but... And we told them that they didn't want to say anything. T o protect a solemn statement, deeply loves the nature of the first measures, we must enhance our environmental protection consciousness, consciousness enhancement, the people will throw, throw, destroyed. At that time, don't say that the edict was happy, and the whole nation would be happy. The scientists in this material also say that in the kindergarten, they have learned how to love nature, and children understand the truth, don't the adults understand? Love nature, protect the environment, is the duty of the whole country people, hope everybody can rise up to protect the earth, protect mother! Bid farewell to the dirty of the past and look forward to future clean!高一必修二英语单元作文5Live in my house too, west town, in front of my house have a long big ditch, if before, I will lift up his thumb kua it, but now, I to them for it.I had been playing at this ditch since I was a child, and when I was five or six, my father often took me to the ditch to play with water. Every summer, the ditch water full, the fish in the water in teams, to chase, weeds on both sides of the ditch is thick, the duck likes to wear to wear in the grass, as if to hide and seek, every day early in the morning, when the flashing dew on weeds, the duck is singing. The clear gutter flutter eastward, and it seems to be singing merrily, and every afternoon it is a paradise for our little children.Later, in imperceptible in, the ditch water become dirty, smelly, can't see even a small fish, groove face floated from time to time some of the animal's body, all kinds of plastic bags, rod, leaves cans... It turns out that in recent years, so more and more sand industrial park of the new factory, the factory waste water directly into the ditch without being cleaned, people also casually to ditch the trash, throw bricks... Now, on both sides of the ditch lush reeds by some cut to feed the sheep, and the remaining red willow also few, isn't here birds build nests, the duck is not here to sing, sometimes the ditch floating around, large and small, dead fish.Ah! Hometown, how beautiful is your original clean ah, but now you became a contaminated town, I loudly cries from the bottom of my heart: "people, wake up, protect the ecological, environmental protection, obligatory. Only in this way, can save water, save home, save the planet, save ourselves."Today, ignorance of humans, endless mirror to factory wastegas, waste liquid and smoke a lot of emissions into the earth mother's skin, blood, released into the earth mother feed in the milk of humans, only emissions into the atmosphere every year all over the world lead, mercury and cadmium, respectively is 200 tons, 11000 tons and 11000 tons, the clouds smoke, waste gas, the thick liquid waste and sewage, bared his teeth like contemplating the cancer cells to came to me and hit my body health, and even to protect the earth mother and our ozone layer veil torn two tunnels, ultraviolet relentlessly burn the earth mother's skin, cause serious damage to our survival. You see, we often think of metaphor is the sky blue sea, white clouds, the analogy is white cotton, the grass as green carpet, and the actual is all grey, these changes in the environment, make me sad, let me to tears.Human clothing, food, shelter, and practice are all dependent on the gift of nature. The atmosphere, the forest, the lake sea are all the conditions that people depend on. We humans should be awake, destroying the natural environment, which is the equivalent of destroying our homes and creating hunger. Let us act, my friends! Protect the environment, be duty-bound!。
