2）教材处理Section A分为五个小部份。
Part1a 1b是季节、天气及活动等词汇及重点句型的呈现，Part2、Part3、是整合新旧知识，进一步练习新语言，Part4是语言的实践及运用，，同时作为本课结尾。
对于我的学生来说，Section A提供的内容及活动一节课无法完成，两节课又太宽松。
课改提倡教师“用教材”而不是“教教材”因此，我将部份内容做了整合。
2、教学目标根据英语课程标准的要求及本话题的任务，结合学生的实际情况，我确定了本课的教学目标。
（1）知识目标：学习和掌握季节、天气及活动等词汇；学习并运用谈论天气和季节及活动的句型；复习户外活动的词组。
a: 词汇：weather spring warm season summer mountain winter cold rain snow groundb: 句型：----- What’s the weather like in ______? / How is the weather _______?----- It’s ______.----- It’s a good season for hiking. / It’s a good time to climb mountains.----- Which season do you like best?----- I like _______ best.（2）能力目标：听懂、谈论四季、天气及户外活动；能够表达自己对季节的偏爱和原因；激发学生学习的积极性和主动性，善于抓住英语表达的机会。

第十课学习某个城市气候情况；第十一课学习将来的的天气情况；第十二课学习个人暑假旅程以及在各个目的地所进行的活动的信息。
在语法方面，在本单元简单学习了will和be going to 表示将来时的用法。
教学内容复习与季节、天气、衣物相关话题词汇以及句式。
教学目标：在本节课结束时，学生能够：1.说出季节、天气、衣物、著名景点的词汇；2.用正确的句子描述北京各个季节的天气、适合穿着的服装以及可以游玩的地点；3.以书信形式向外国朋友Linda推荐来北京游玩适合的季节、应准备的服装以及可游玩的地点。
