本课是外研社小学英语三年级起点六年级上册Module9 Unit2第一课时,本课一共两课时。

课文情境Smart一家人讨论去哪里旅游,以及去这些地方的原因。

本课是对want用法的进一步学习与深入,在本模块的第一单元里面,用want to来询问他人的意愿以及表达自己的意愿。

本课只有一个新单词:should。

本节课的重点是通过复现和扩展,让学生从多个角度去考虑我问题,学习新知,整合旧知,综合运用所学的知识并自然表达想去某个地方的意愿以及选择这个地方的理由(谈论某个景点或者城市的特点)。

学情分析通过几年的学习,六年级的学生们已经有一定的英语基础,具备了一定的英语学习能力,掌握了一些日常对话用语和一定量的词汇。

本单元的主题是旅行,学生对“travel”比较向往,对祖国的大好河山有一定的了解,掌握了一些常见的活动和指令,能听懂一些课堂用语和有秩序地进行教学游戏。

并且学生喜欢旅游这个话题,能就自己的旅游经历这个日常生活话题作简短描述,有意愿表达自己想去旅游的地方。

本课出现的“want to”属于复现的内容,学生对“want to”的表达方式并不陌生,能比较熟练地用“Do you want to...?”询问别人并用“Yes, I do./No, I want to go to...”回答并简单陈述原因,学生也能用“I wantto...”描述自己的意愿。

从说的角度来看,学生有意愿积极主动参与制定自已周末或假期的旅行计划,在讨论中,敢于主动表达自己的观点并合理陈述理由。

教学目标一、知识目标能听懂会说会读以下句型:1.Do you want to...?Yes,I do./ No, I want to...2. I want to ...二、情感目标1.培养学生的积极主动参与学习和大胆开口说英语的习惯。

教学流程:Class opening1、Greeting:Hello!/Hi!New Concepts1、利用图片引出对话,并对其进行介绍:Did he lived in …? (说出图片),教师可以重复这句话,使学生理解它,如果学生不能明白,教师就多举几个例子,例如:在学生理解句子的含义后教师试着让学生造句:Did he lived in …?反复进行几组后就要放手让学生自己来练习了。

教授单词和句子同上述方法。

设计意图:根据年龄特点,用创设情景的方法,直观的将所学内容展示给学生,生动活泼,使学生容易接受新知。

激发学生的学习兴趣。

二、预习学案1.学生可以利用字典和课后的单词表预习好本节课应该掌握的生单词,重点是读法和用法。

教师呈现北京天安门的图片。

老师让学生就玲玲写的信进行提问,同学间互相解答,如:Where was Mr Smart? Where were Ms Smart and Amy?”来检验学生课文大意掌握程度。

让学生自己在书上划出答句,并回答。

学生以小组形式自主讨论,解决问题,最后老师帮助点拨梳理学生易忽视的难点内容,如:was / were。
