变化从何而来？“公司坚持供给侧改革，一只眼睛盯市场，一只眼睛盯产品，从单一的纺织捻线机扩展到玻璃纤维、电子行业、汽车轮胎等高附加值的捻线机。
”朱顺双说，在捻线机行业，宜昌纺机一路赶超法国、日本等同行业企业，目前在部分领域优于德国企业。
“对于中国企业能生产如此高端的捻线机，日本客户常常感到不可思议。
截至目前，宜昌纺机获得50多项国家专利，其中自主创新20多项，具有多项世界领先的技术和创新成果，形成了以“宜昌加捻系统”为代表的国际化品牌。
节能，是机械制造业的一个重要考查指标。
宜昌纺机的节能之路，始于一则来自对手的新闻。
“当年，看到一条关于德国对手企业的报道，说该企业正在研发新型节能设备，较之传统设备最大限度可节能40%左右。
”汪斌说，看到这则新闻，宜昌纺机人大吃一惊，如果对方的节能产品问世，宜昌纺机将非常被动。
捻线机因其高耗能，被业界称为“电老虎”。
“于是，公司集中力量研发相关机型的节能升级版，2012年首批样机面市。
”汪斌说，以智能促节能，成为宜昌纺机战略转型的方向。
宜昌纺机研发的“筒纱智能打包输送系统”使用机器人流水线，实现筒纱自动输送码垛和打包，每班组可减少3人，整套系统还实现了综合能源降耗15%。
“数字化棉纺成套设备”则实现了粗纱、细纱、络筒工序间全自动配送，多项技术填补国内空白，成套棉纺环锭纺设备整体技术达到国际领先水平。
