英国茶文化的介绍在英国人的茶单上,有很多的茶种类,但其实总体来讲,茶叶的种类可以分为blacktea和herbaltea这两大类。

除此之外,还有现在很多茶叶品牌推出的水果茶,混合茶,把各种味道融入传统的blacktea和beraltea来以达到特殊的功效(但在我看来,很多也是以营销为目的的)。

我们普遍印象里的“英国茶”,值得就是breakfasttea,是blacktea的一种,英文是黑茶但其实是红色的,所以我们称之为红茶英国的茶文化英国的茶文化。

大部分breakfasttea都是茶袋,泡入沸水中几分钟,喝的时候可以拌入奶和糖,虽然有的人喜欢不加奶加糖,但最正宗的还是需要加进去的,另外最主要的一点,茶袋一定要拿出来再喝,不能浸泡在水里。

此时,我们的头脑中大概可以想象一下英国和中国爱喝茶的老人的体型区别——英国胖胖的老人家坐在tearoom里喝着有糖和奶的红茶,再搭配饼干、甜品或三文治,享受下午时光,而中国的瘦削精炼老人家则是默默喝着茶,读读晨报,然后还是再喝着茶。

Blends的代表就是上面出现多次的breakfasttea,由于是英格兰人发明出来的一种符合他们口味的茶,所以我们在超市或商店会看到“EnglishBreakfastTea”的标识,也就是英格兰早餐茶。

这种茶大多是由阿萨姆和锡兰红茶混合而成,口感浓郁,可唤醒早起时的困顿,多数人早上会喝。

而Afternoontea是大吉岭和锡兰的混合,口味比breakfasttea要清淡一点,适合柔和的下午英国。

还有一种比较常见的就是ChaiTea,这是印度非常流行的一种味道充满香料浓郁的茶,根据印度朋友说,Chai其实茶的谐音,他们那里的茶就是这种。

ChaiTea的做法是在浓郁的红茶里加入香辛调料,如肉桂、丁香、豆蔻、胡椒(口味较特别,轻口味者慎重选择),必须要加奶,而且还有一种辣辣的感觉。

很多英国的咖啡店有卖的,像Starbucks,就会有ChaiTeaLatte出售,味道非常甜,不过是热奶和已经做好的茶浆兑出来的,不想喝那么多奶的话,也可以直接选择ChaiTea的茶包,再倒奶和糖,味道没有ChaiTeaLatte那么甜腻。
