让小学生在课堂上张口说英语是件很艰难的事。

一、阻碍学生英语口语交际能力的因素1、缺乏自信,害怕受耻笑一些孩子比较胆小,羞于说英语。

很多学生总觉得自己的英语基础差,语音、语调不标准,怕开口说错,受到老师的责备和同学的嘲笑。

这种恐惧心理常导致学生口语表达时显得焦虑和紧张,影响他们正常的思维和顺利的表达,说话时吞吞吐吐,结结巴巴的,渐渐地就会失去英语表达的愿望。

课堂上要有人发言,班级里举手的总是寥寥几人,声音也不够响亮,学生缺少自信,没有足够的勇气来挑战自己。

因此,阻碍了口语训练的顺利进行。

2、缺少英语口语交际的氛围交际教学思想的倡导者欧莱特认为语言学习的成功在于将学生放在一个需要用目的语交际的环境之中,这样才能培养学生对语言形式的得体与否做出判断的能力和结合语境理解语言形式与意义的能力。

但是我们的学生接触真实英语交际情景的机会非常有限,他们的语言学习和习得的主要环境就是课堂,口语练习也局限于书本上机械的操练,缺乏师生和学生间思想上、信息上、情感上有意义的交流。

光靠读课文背课文,对学生英语口语能力的提高帮助不大。

3、依赖心理的影响在学生发生语言表达障碍时,有些老师总喜欢马上救助,帮助学生表达,这样的行为多了,就常常会使学生产生依赖心理,导致注意力不集中,难以独立地完整地表达。

二、培养学生英语口语表达能力的有效途径只有在启蒙教学中培养学生良好的说话习惯,浓厚的学习兴趣,克服不必要的心理负担,才能为今后的外语学习作好充分的准备,打好扎实的基础。

同时,学生学好英语口语,还有助于学生充分表现自我,培养他们高度的自信心,责任心,开朗的性格及创造精神。

Everybody hopes he can speak fluently English. But they are afraid of making mistakes when they speak English and being laughed at by the other people. Therefore they have no courage to speak. We need overcome our fear and speak loudly. Don’t worry about the mistakes. Some students repeat single sentences and cannot be process of leaving oral English. For example, if someone be asked: “How are you?” most of students, even some college students will answer: “Fine. Thank you. And you?” In fact, there are many ways to answer this question, just like: “Terrific”, “Good”, “Not bad” and so on. So try to express one meaning in various ways.As a student who has learned English so many years, we have lost a lot of time to remember the words seriously. We just learn them and use them and then we forget them. The principles of selecting a suitable film for learning are very important. The movie materials’ selection is significant in English learning. There are also many different kinds of films, like comedy, tragedy, science fiction, thriller, documentary, etc. Although there are various kinds of movies, not everyone can be adopted as learning material, and what kind of films is suitable for learning is the key question for learners. Selecting a suitable film is very important for a learner to improve our oral English. However, some modern campus films, love story films, comedy films are good choice, because movies must be quite close to the modern society, so it is the key of choosing movies. When watching this kind of films, you should pay your attention to the films on what, who, where, when, how, why questions on the film.Certainly, there are different levels of students’ proficiency in college. Generally, according to their level of proficiency of English, students can be divided into three groups: elementary, intermediate, advanced. According to their level, students can choose the films that suit for them. They study spoken English so as to make oral communications, so this order of importance of oral English study should be followed: Fluency, accuracy, and appropriateness. Teaching in target language, of course, is the most direct way. In so many ways teachers become the language model for students to learn from. They have to ensure that in class students are given enough authentic materials and practical chances. There are many factors affecting students’ listening comprehension. Listening comprehension is a complicated processing. “Interest is the best teacher”. First of all, teacher should arouse the students’interest in English listening, create an active atmosphere for students. Of course students’ oral English will improve at the same time when we having listening.5ConclusionAs English becomes more and more important in our daily life, oral English is the key to communicate with people who come from different countries. So it is quite important to learn oral English well .People who live in the earth can go to theplace which they can arrive at. 第一级为初级阶段。

在此阶段,首先应创造一个有利于习得语言的环境,尽可能地多接触与运用对象语。

各种活动所必需的心理特征在各人身上的发展程度和结合方式是不同的,因而,能力特征也是人各不同的。

能力是在人的生理素质的基础上,经过教育和培养,并在实践活动中吸取人民群众的智慧和经验,而形成发展起来的。

语言是人们交际的工具。

斯大林曾说过:“语言是工具、武器,人们利用它来互相交际,交流思想,达到互相了解”。

那么英语交际能力就是指人们之间运用英国语言文字这门工具进行相互了解、往来和接触的能力。

我们作为炎黄子孙的中国人,学习英国语言文字的最终目的,就是要掌握和运用这门在国际上通行使用、而且范围最广的语言工具。

运用这门工具,使我们中华民族同世界上其它民族进行文化、科技交流,架起一座座友谊桥梁,弘扬我们中华民族的优秀传统文化,发展科学技术,吸收各民族的文化和科技精华,真正使我中华永远繁荣昌盛,永远像巨人一样屹立于世界东方,永远屹立于世界民族之林。

笔者经过多年的教学实践,认为坚持下列几项原则进行英语教学是实现上述英语教学目的的有效途径。

一、坚持听、说领先,通过听、说培养学生的英语听说能力学生运用英语进行交际的能力的一个最基础最重要的部分就是听、说、读、写、译这五会能力的形成。

然而,这五会能力的形成、培养和发展是不均衡的。

它们之间是互相制约、互相透、互相影响和互相促进的。

但是,最基础的能力是什么呢? 作为交际工具的语言是由语音、语法和词汇三个部分组成的。

这三者是缺一不可的,缺少任何一项都不是语言,不能单独地起到语言交际作用。

然而,语言是首先有声音的,文字只不过是语言的记录符号。

听、说是一切语言活动的基础。

读和写是在听、说基础之上而产生出来的,所以说口语是第一性的,是学好语言的基础。

而语音又是语言的本质所在,是语言学习的基础,不掌握语言的声音,语言就不能算其为交际工具。

这是学好任何一种语言的共性规律,只有遵循这一规律,语言教学才能取得成功。

而其中,语音教学部分又是语言教学的最重要的基础,同时又是学好一种语言的根本基础。

因为词汇的学习记忆要依靠词的语音形象,词的正确拼读和拼写也离不开正确的读音,而且语句的读音熟练又是文字阅读速度的基础。

正确的语音对流畅的读写都有着极为重要的影响和作用。

英语语音是指元音、辅音的发音、词句重读、连续和语调组成的整个语音体系。

指导帮助学生过好语音关,特别是准确地掌握英语语音中的元音音素和辅音音素是语音教学的基础,它又是学好英语的最重要的基础。

没有这个基础是学不好英语的,实现英语教学的目的只能是空谈而已。

由此我们可以看出,听、说能力是学好语言的基础,离开这个基础,语言教学就难以取得成功。

那么教师应该怎样为学生打好学习基础呢?教师在教学中应首先为学生积极创造外语环境,设法培养学生对听、说英语的兴趣,看到他们在英语学习中不断取得的进步,知道自己实际运用英语的能力,不断克服缺点,取得新的进步,进一步坚定他们的自信心。

心理学家普遍认为:“人的各种活动都是由一定动机产生的”。

伟大的科学巨匠爱因斯坦也曾说过:“兴趣是最好的老师”。

所以说作为高级动物的人,只有他感兴趣的东西他才会积极主动运用大脑去思考,去研究并以最有效的方式去获得;其次是使学生明确英语听、说、读、写、译这五会能力形成之间的辩证关系和掌握科学的学习方法,真正意识到“实践出真知”,各种能力的形成和发展都要经过大量的语言实践,“一分耕耘,一分收获”,离开了实践,就难以实现学习目的;第三是积极鼓励学生将英语语言实践融于日常学习和生活之中去,最大限度地运用英语去交际,真正彻底根除有些中国人学英语“尊口难开,怕出错,怕受耻笑,学的是哑巴英语”的通病。

要真正彻底解放思想,利用一切可以利用的空间场合进行英语语言实践。

真正意识到,一个英语发音不准确、听说能力很差的中国人,很难成功地运用英语这门工具进行语言交际,成为国际语言文化的传播者,为弘扬中华民族的优秀传统文化尽义务做贡献。

二、加强读、写、译的语言实践,侧重培养学生英语读、写、译能力听、说、读、写、译既是教学手段又是教学目的之一。

运用英语进行交际的能力的培养应在培养学生听、说能力的基础上侧重加强读、写、译能力的培养,使学生五会能力既能得到全面形成和培养,又能根据学生毕业后所从事的工作性质而有所侧重,以适应他们未来的工作实际需要。

读、写、译主要是以书面语言形式进行交际的一种手段,这对学生来讲尤为重要。

因为他们在未来的工作中,以书面语言形式进行交际的比例占得较大,读、写、译能力的作用较为突出,所以教师应根据不同教学阶段的发展和变化,应侧重读、写、译能力的培养。

只有把听、说方式的语言交际和书面形式的语言交际有机地结合起来,运用英语进行交际的能力中最基础的一部分才能得到培养。

在培养学生读、写、译能力的过程中,教师应首先坚持“理论指导实践,理论和实践相结合”,学生的语言实践在正确的理论指导下才能少走弯路,取得实质性和突破性进展,达到实践的目的。

这种“理论”即是读、写、译的基础理论和基础知识,用它们来指导学生的语言实践,使学生在大量的语言实践中形成读、写、译的基本技能和技巧;其次是在教学中应有计划,有步骤地进行英语语言实践活动、指定和配给所需的语言材料和一定的空间场所,在此基础上,学生应根据自身的实际需求增加必需的语言材料,使语言实践活动丰富多彩,取得实际成效;第三是定期地多种形式地检测学生读、写、译能力的形成和发展情况,对检测结果予以讲评,不断总结并给予微观指导,使学生看到成绩和不足,不断完善、不断进取。

三、全面认识并真正培养学生的英语交际能力英语交际能力程度的高低、速度的快慢是受各种因素的影响和制约的,从掌握知识到发展成为一种能力是一个极其复杂的过程,它与教学方法、学生的语言实践活动的程度大小、学生学习的自觉性和积极性、学生的心理因素的发展变化都有着极密切的关系。

一个人获得了英语语言知识方面的“听、说、读、写、译”这五项基本技能并不说明他已经真正形成了英语交际能力。

这只是交际能力所需的第一大类知识——语言知识。

此外,还需要另一大类知识——就是如何正确地、得体地和有效地使用第一大类的语言知识。

只有这两大类知识有机地结合起来,才能进行成功的交际,交际能力才算真正形成。

第一大类知识涉及语言知识系统内部的关系,而第二大类知识涉及语言交际系统知识和实际生活的关系,没有对第二大类知识的掌握就不能很好地使用第一大类知识。

语言的正确性有赖于第一大类知识,而得体性和有效性则取决于第二大类知识。

交际能力就是这两大类知识的掌握和运用,这正如著名的社会语言学家海姆斯(H.D.Hymes)指出的那样,“一个学语言的人,他的言语能力不仅是他是否造出合乎语法的句子,而且还包括他是否恰当地使用语言的能力”。

他首先提出了交际能力(communicativecompetence)这一著名的概念,还进一步阐述了交际能力的四个特征:一是能辨别组织合乎语法的句子;二是在适当的语言环境中使用适当的语言;三是能判断语言形式的可接受性;四是能知道语言形式出现的或然率——是常用的习语,还是罕见的个人用语?海姆斯的观点进一步说明人们运用语言进行交际的过程有两个重要方面:一是运用语言表达什么思想,即内容;二是怎样运用语言表达思想,即语言表达形式。

所以,教师在教学过程中,应首先明确英语教学的目的——就是要教会学生形成创造性地、有目的地运用英语进行交际的能力,使学生能把所学的语言知识在新的场合中重新组织,创造性地表达学生自己的思想和情感;其次是应明确交际功能是语言最本质的功能。

英语作为交际工具,要通过英语交际活动和有兴趣的教学活动才能更好地为学生所掌握;第三是应明确教学必须从学生的实际出发,学生是学习的主体,是内因,教师是外因。

教师的任务是给学生创造、提供真实的、逼真的语言交际环境及情景和创造性地运用语言的机会,从而使学生在语言使用过程中自由表达他们的思想情感;第四是必须明确交际能力不仅仅是指听、说、读、写、译的单项技能,但交际能力却包括这五项技能,这五项技能只是英语交际能力的一个重要基础部分;第五是应明确从交流思想的角度来看,英语讲得流利、得体较之正确程度更为重要。

在交际过程中,稍微有些错误但不影响理解,操所学外语的本国人也听得懂,这比追求语言表达形式上的正确,却结结巴巴非常吃力难于表达思想更为实用,更易达到交流思想感情的目的;第六是应明确交际能力中交际者的心理素质的重要性。

没有一个良好的心理素质,很难形成真正的英语交际能力。

所以,教师除了指导帮助学生掌握语言系统内的知识外,还应加强对他们的心理素质培养和提高的工作,使学生的心理素质适应用英语进行交际的需要。

做到正确、得体、有效地运用英语进行交际。

诚然,“教无定法”。

各级各类英语教师在明确英语教学的最终目标基础上,应根据各自教学大纲的要求,灵活运用各种教学方法,真正加强理论和实践的探索,并将教学理论和英语教学实践真正有机地结合起来,英语教学定会硕果累累,出自华夏大地的英语交际者定会遍布全球。

三、信息技术环境下的现代教育技术观念众所周知,我国正处在由工业化社会向信息化社会过渡的关键时期,各行各业正在加快从资本、体力密集型向知识、智力和技术密集型转变的步伐。

教育系统作为社会大系统中的子系统,也随着社会大系统的变化而变化。

进入到21世纪,以多媒体技术和网络技术为核心的信息技术正在以惊人的速度进入到教育的各个领域和环节。

人们突然发现,教育正处在一种与工业化时代不同的教育环境——信息技术环境中。

信息技术正在构造一个网络化、数字化和智能化有机结合的教育环境,一座新的、无限开放的平台将在这个环境中架起,所有的教育资源将得到沟通,新的教育教学规律将要在这个平台上产生并得以运行。

在信息技术环境中,人们不仅需要现代化的信息技术手段,更需要用全新的观念和理论去重新审视和指导教育教学活动的各个领域和环节。

一流的信息技术设备并不能产生一流的教学效率和效果。

现代教育技术即以计算机为核心的信息技术在教育、教学领域的运用,要真正起到整个教育改革的制高点和突破口的作用,首要的、最迫切的还是教育思想和教学观念的变革,要解放思想,勇于创新,树立新的教育技术观念息技术是解决信息时代教育问题的基本工具,作为教育生产力中的教育工具要素,将会从根本上提高教育生产力的水平,相应地,人才观应该由知识型人才观转变为素质型人才观。

2005年我国将进行全国范围内的小学生教材大改革,主要侧重于孩子综合素质的培养。

由此看出信息时代的素质型人才除了应该包含传统的德智体以外,还要特别突出信息能力和的极为广泛,它推动了教育进程的现代化并为一些相关学科提供了良好的发展空间。
