教材：本节课选自外研社出版的《新标准英语》第九册第六模块第一单元。运用英语评估自己和他人。通过活动使学生学会用英语做事请，获得信息，体验成功的快乐。
本节课为新内容活动课。
目标：1.单词教学：true well
语句教学：Can you run fast? Can you jump high?
Can you catch the ball?
You can play basketball well.
2.综合运用语言的能力。
（能在一些体育运动中运用所学知识）
3.培养学生的合作意识、参与意识及交际策略。
4.告诉学生学习要劳逸结合。不但要好好学习，还要多锻炼、多运动，身体健康才能保证更好的学习。
重点：掌握与打篮球有关的一些问句及回答。能用句型：Can you …?
难点:对“well”一词的讲解及如何在实际中用英语询问他们会做什么事情。
教法与学法：情境法、任务教学法、TPR教学法。
过程：
Step 1：热身活动
1.Greeting:Good morning, boys and girls.
T：Let’s sing an English song.（课件出示一首英文歌：Can you throw high in the sky? 学生边唱边跳）
做游戏：
T：Would you like to play a game? Miss Wang say: swim, you say : I can swim. Miss Wang
say: Run. You say : I can run. OK?（老师一边说一边做动作,板书：I can…）now, stand up.
T: Run. Swim. Jump. Play basketball. Play football. Play pingpong. Read a book.

T: Good job. Boys and girls. Look at the pictures on the screen. Say: I can…(老师出示课件。)

T: Great. (老师做跑的动作边说)I can run. But I can’t run fast.

能在句子中正确使用单词：point, team, thirty-six, got,
other, fifty, thirteen, twenty, seventeen以及数字1－100，会用got表达过去的得分，并能根据提示词来解说一场篮球比赛
三、 教材分析
本教材为新标准英语五年级上册《They got fifty points》.本单元以got为主要结构单词，来描述一场篮球比赛。通过学生自己上网搜索我国篮球比赛的实况来了解比赛的得分情况，并在班中当小解说员用英语解说比赛，让学生在网上搜索激发学生的探究精神，在“小小解说员”的讲解中，引导学生观察生活，热于运动，将所学知识融入生活。还通过教师搜索的在北京奥运会中我国男篮进入八强的视频，培养了学生热爱祖国，将来为祖国争光的爱国情感。

第一课时单词教学
教学目标：
使学生能够熟练听说、认读本模块单词表中的七个单词并能够会写四会单词：well, team, catch,
badly
教学程序
一、热身活动
听指令，做动作，复习已学过的动词或动词词组。如： swim, play basketball, play football, play
table tennis, run fast, jump high, jump far等。
二．教学单词
1.教师可以通过出示实物和动作教学单词catch, control.如在教学单词catch时，教师可以先向学生出示一篮球并问学生：Do you like basketball?待学生答复后教师继续问:Who can catch the
ball?教师在问的同时将球抛向空中，并接住球答复：I can catch the ball.答复后，教师将catch一词板书在黑板上，领读此单词，并让学生猜一猜此单词的含义。之后，教师和学生一起玩听口令，接球游戏，使学生在活动中感受、理解并运用短语：catch the ball ，最后教师对学生活动结果加以评价，从而引出对单词：well, badly的学习。
2.出示图片学习单词team, really, fantastic.教师可以向学生出示一张篮球队的照片，并问学生：What is this? 然后自己答复：This is a team, a basketball team.板书team并对此进行教学。之后教师指着其中的一名队员问学生：Who’s he? 学生答复：He is Yaoming，教师继续问： What
can he do? 引导学生答复：He can play basketballwell.教师给予肯定并进一步补充道：Yes, he
can also jump really high.并伴以动作使学生能够理解句子的意思，随后板书really并对此进行学习。之后，教师再次指着姚明说：He is fantastic 。同时伸出大拇指以使学生理解fantastic的意思，随后教师出示fantastic 的单词卡，并对此进行学习。
