J o bs ma tt er, downstate and upstate. Health c are ma tt er s, education ma tt er s, the environment ma tt er s, Social Securi t y ma tt er s, a woman’s right to choose ma tt er s. It all ma tt er s and I just want to say from the bottom of my h ear t, th a nk you, New Y or k!Th a nk you for o p ening up y our minds and y our h ear ts, for seeing the p o ssibility of what we could do togeth er for our children and for our future here in this state and in our nation. I am profoundly grateful to all of you for giving me the ch a nce to s er ve you.I will, I will do everything I c a n to be worthy of your faith and trust and to h o nor the powerful example of Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. I would like all of you and the countless New Yorkers and Americans w a tching to join me in h o noring him for his 4)incredible h a lf century of service to New York and our nation. Senator Moynihan, on beh a lf of New York and America, than k you.I promise you tonight that I will reach across p ar t y lines to bring progress for all of New York’s f a milies. Today we voted as Democrats and Republicans. Tom o rrow we begin again as New Yorkers. And how fortunate we are indeed to live in the most 5)diverse, 6)dynamic andbeautiful state in the entire union. You know, from the South Bronx to the Southern Tier, from Brooklyn to Buffalo, from Montauk to Massena, from the 7)world’s tallest skyscrapers to breathtaking mountain ranges, I’ve met people whose faces and stories I will never forget. Thousands of New Yorkers from all 62 counties welcomed me into your schools, your local 8)diners, your factory floors, your living rooms and front 9)porches. You taught me, you tested me and you sh are d with me your challenges and concerns-about overcrowded or crumbling schools, about the struggle to care for growing children and aging parents, about the continuing ch a llenge of providing equal opportunity for all and about children moving away from their home towns because good j o bs are so h ar d to find in upstate New York. That’s the basic bargain. And to those of you who worked so hard and never lost faith even in the toughest times, I offer you my 11)undying gratitude.

The question is about putting more money into the Americans’pockets. First we have to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.

That means we need more jobs, good jobs with rising incomes.

I want us to invest in you. I want us to invest in your future.

That means jobs in infrastructure and in mass manufacturing, in innovation and technology, clean renewable energy and in small businesses bec ause most of the jobs will come from small business.

We also have to make the economy fairer. That starts with raising the national minimum wage and also guarantee finely equal pay for women’s work.

---Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests, and Fellow Americans:Today, we stand at a crossroads. A moment where the future of our nation hangs in the balance. I am Hillary Clinton, and I am running for President of the United States. For those who know me, you know that I have dedicated my life to public service. From fighting for women's rights to advocating for healthcare reform, I have worked tirelessly to make America a better place. But today, I am here to talk about a new chapter in our nation's story—a chapter where we come together, break down barriers, and build a future that is brighter for all.A Nation United by Our Common ValuesFirst and foremost, we must recognize that we are a nation united by our common values. Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, or something else, we share a belief in the American Dream— that if you work hard and play by the rules, you can achieve anything. But over the past few years, we have seen those values erode. We have seen division and polarization grow, and we have seen our economy and our society struggle. It is time for a new direction, a direction that brings us together and moves us forward.Economic Opportunity for AllEconomic opportunity is the foundation of the American Dream. But today, too many Americans are working hard and still falling behind. We must rebuild our economy from the ground up, ensuring that everyone has afair shot to succeed.I will fight for a comprehensive plan to create good-paying jobs, invest in infrastructure, and expand access to education and training. We will rebuild our manufacturing sector, support small businesses, and foster innovation in every corner of our nation. We will also tackle the inequality that plagues our economy. We will raise the minimum wage, close tax loopholes that benefit the wealthy, and ensure that everyone pays their fair share. No one who works full-time should live in poverty, and no one should be denied the chance to achieve their dreams.Healthcare for Every AmericanHealthcare is a basic human right, and yet millions of Americans go without coverage or struggle to afford the care they need. I will fight to expand access to quality, affordable healthcare for every American. My plan will build on the Affordable Care Act, making it stronger and more effective. We will lower premiums, reduce deductibles, and ensure that no one is denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition. We will also invest in preventive care, so we can keep people healthy and reduce the burden on our healthcare system.A Safe and Secure AmericaOur nation's security is a paramount concern, and I will do everything in my power to keep America safe. We will invest in our military, modernize our infrastructure, and work to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. But we must also recognize that the greatest threat to our security comes from within. We will fight to end the violence that plagues our communities, and we will work to break the cycle of poverty and despair that leads to crime. We will also combat the rise of terrorism, both abroad and at home, by working with our allies and using all the tools at our disposal.Environmental LeadershipThe health of our planet is inextricably linked to the health of our nation. We must take bold action to combat climate change and protect our environment for future generations.I will lead an all-out effort to combat climate change, investing in clean energy, transitioning to a carbon-free economy, and reducinggreenhouse gas emissions. We will also support sustainable agriculture and conservation efforts, ensuring that our land and water are preserved for years to come.Building Bridges, Not WallsAs we move forward, we must remember that America is a nation of immigrants. We are a nation built on the backs of immigrants, and we must continue to welcome the best and brightest from around the world.I will fight to reform our immigration system, ensuring that it is fair, humane, and efficient. We will provide a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, and we will strengthen our borders while respecting the rights of all people.Education for a Global FutureEducation is the key to unlocking the potential of every American. We must invest in our children, ensuring that they have access to quality education from pre-school through college. My plan will make college more affordable, expand Pell Grants, and provide debt relief for students who graduate with loans. We will also invest in vocational training and technical education, so that our workforce is prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. The Power of InclusionInclusion is the essence of America. We must ensure that every American has a seat at the table, regardless of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or background.I will fight for equal rights and opportunities for all, working to end discrimination and violence. We will also invest in mental health services, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they need.A Legacy of ServiceThroughout my career, I have been inspired by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."As President, I will be a voice for those who have been ignored, a champion for those who have been oppressed, and a leader who will fight for the values that define us as Americans.Ladies and Gentlemen, Fellow Americans:The future is ours to shape. We can choose a path of division and despair, or we can choose a path of unity and hope.I choose hope. I choose unity. I choose America.I ask you to join me on this journey. Together, we can build a future where every American has a chance to succeed. Together, we can make America great again.Thank you.---[Applause]。

Thank you. Thank you.Thank you, so much.Thank you, all.Thank you very, very much.Well, this isn't exactly the party I'd planned, but I sure like the company. And I want to start today by saying how grateful I am to all of you,to everyone who poured your hearts and your hopes into this campaign, who drove for miles and lined the streets waving homemade signs, who scrimped and saved to raise money, who knocked on doors and made calls, who talked, sometimes argued with your friends and neighbors, who e-mailed and contributed online, who invested so much in our common enterprise,to the moms and dads who came to our events, who lifted their little girls and little boys on their shoulders and whispered in their ears,"See, you can be anything you want to be."

To the young people like-a 13-year-old Anne Riddell from Mayfield, Ohio, who had been saving for two years to go to Disney World and decided to use her savings instead to travel to Pennsylvania with her mom and volunteer there, as well.To the veterans, to the childhood friends, to New Yorkers and Arkansans- who traveled across the country, telling anyone who would listen why you supported me.And to all of those women in their 80s and their 90s-born before women could vote, who cast their votes for our campaign.I've told you before about Florence Stein of South Dakota who was 88 years old and insisted that her daughter bring an absentee ballot to her hospice bedside. Her daughter and a friend put an American flag behind her bed and helped her fill out the ballot. She passed away soon after and, under state law, her ballot didn't count, but her daughter later told a reporter,"My dad's an ornery, old cowboy, and he didn't like it when he heard mom's vote wouldn't be counted.I don't think he had voted in 20 years, but he voted in place of my mom."

”So to all those who voted for me and to whom I pledged my utmost, my commitment to you and to the progress we seek is unyielding. You have inspired and touched me with the stories of the joys and sorrows that make up the fabric of our lives. And you have humbled me with your commitment to our country.Eighteen million of you, from all walks of life-women and men, young and old, Latino and Asian, African-American and Caucasian rich, poor, and middle-class, gay and straight, you have stood with me.And I will continue to stand strong with you every time, every place, in every way that I can.The dreams we share are worth fighting for.Remember, we fought for the single mom with the young daughter, juggling work and school, who told me, "Im doing it all to better myself for her."We fought for the woman who grabbed my hand and asked me, "What are you going to do to make sure I have health care?" and began to cry, because even though she works three jobs, she can't afford insurance.

We fought for the young man in the Marine Corps T-shirt who waited months for medical care and said,"Take care of my buddies over there, and then will you please take care of me?"We fought for all those who've lost jobs and health care, who can't afford gas or groceries or college, who have felt invisible to their president these last seven years.I entered this race because I have an old-fashioned conviction that public service is about helping people solve their problems and live their dreams.I've had every opportunity and blessing in my own life, and I want the same for all Americans. And until that day comes, you'll always find me on the front lines of democracy, fighting for the future. The way-the way to continue our fight now, to accomplish the goals for which we stand is to take our energy, our passion, our strength, and do all we can to help elect Barack Obama, the next president of the United States.
