Step 1:Warm up
1.教师播放26个英文字母歌曲，学生跟唱；然后找学生上台默写26个字母，并圈出5个元音字母。
2.利用教学课件出示已经学过的元音字母所在的单词，让学生通过朗读例词来复习元音字母的发音。
Step 2: Presentation
1.教师让学生开火车对比朗读Read, listen and circle部分的例词，
在朗读的过程中一边纠正发音，一边让学生区分元音字母的不同发音。
然后播放光盘，学生圈出所听到的单词，师生核对答案；并再次播放光盘，学生跟读，体会元音字母在单词中的不同发音。
2.教师播放Listen and chant部分的录音，学生边听边感受旋律；反复播放后，学生跟唱，并体会元音字母的发音，读准句子；学生跟唱熟练之后，教师说唱前一句，学生补充下一句，如：T：We like the cat. SS: It’s cute. It’s cute. T：He’s got a cake and a cup of milk. T：A rose on the cake. SS: It’s red. It’s red. T：Cut the cake. SS: Give me the cake. T：He likes the cake. SS: We like it, too.
Step 3：Consolidation and extension
教师将学生分成若干小组，然后以小组为单位完成Chant again. Group and write部分的练习。
要求学生能列举出相同元音字母在单词中发音一样的情况。
比一比，哪个小组能在最短的时间里写得既多又正确。
教师巡逻指导，对错误的现象给予指导。
最后小组汇报交流，总结发音规律。
Step 4: Homework
将所学的语音歌谣唱给家长听。
本节课是语音复习课，如果单纯地去教语音知识，学生势必会没有兴趣，感到枯燥。
通过本节课的复习，大部分学生能够掌握五个元音字母的发音规律，利用发音规则，他们能够做到见词能读，听音能写。
这样对英语的陌生感以及恐惧感就会减轻或消失，从而大大提升他们记忆单词的效果。
