In the same year, Haier Group's refrigerators and other products entered the Middle East market.In 1995, the group launched its first microwave oven and top-loading washing machine. Also in the smae year, the group entered into an agreement with Gansu Administration of Radio Film & T elevision to provide, supply, install and debug as many as 152,000 sets of set-top boxes in 5 regional cities and 18 counties of Gansu Province.Also in 2009, Haier Group acquired 20% stake in New Zealand's Fisher & Paykel Appliances and also signed a cooperative agreement to share all the resources. Under the agreement, exclusive marketing and distribution rights of Fisher & Paykel Appliances-branded products in China, and Fisher & Paykel Appliances will have exclusive marketing and distribution rights of Haier-branded products in Australia and New Zealand.
