一、教学重点
本课时的教学重点是从听、说、读、写四方面掌握句型：Aany ……?are. Naren’t. ，单词： mountain
及在情景中理解并掌握Read and write 部分的内容。
二、教学难点
单词fish 的复数与其单数形式相同，mountain一词的认读和书写，以及句型：Aany ……? 的书写都是本课时的难点内容，教师要适当引导，提示学生正确使用。
三、课前准备
1．学生准备水彩笔，胶水，剪刀等绘画工具。
2．教师准备景物单词卡和B Read and write部分的挂图。
3．教师准备录音机和录音带。
四、教学过程
1．Warn-up（热身）
（1）说说唱唱
教师播放第68页上的Let’s chant 的录音，让学生跟着录音说说唱唱。
（2）口语练习
·每节英语课上都给学生几分钟的时间进行语言运用，提高交际能力。
·教师让学生事先做好准备，可以是小组的形势也可以是个人的形势，根据所学过的内容做口语练习。
（3）拼单词
做拼单词的游戏：教师出示一张单词图片，如：house，请学生按座位顺序拼读，第一个学生说“h” ，第二个学生说“o” 第三个学生说“u” ，第四个学生说“s”，第五个学生说“e”。
2．Presentation（新课呈现）

一、单元整体分析
本单元是义务教育灵通版（pep）小学英语教科书五年级上册的第六单元。主要围绕自然公园和村庄的话题展开，用景物的提问引出A、B、C三个板块的内容。A、B部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点，C部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。
本单元重点学习描述景物且用疑问句进行问答对话，重点呈现核心句型Is /Are there
a~ ~ ~ in the park? Yes, there is/are. No, there isn’t/aren’t.学生们平时亲近自然的机会不多，本单元设置了公园、村庄等情境旨在培养学生热爱大自然的美好情感，同时增强学生的环保意识，本单元的核心也是第五单元There be 句型的延伸和拓展。本单元的内容稍有些平淡，要引起学生的兴趣有一定的难度，所以在安排本单元教学时要多加入一些趣味性较强的活动，激发学生的学习热情。
本单元共分六个课时，A、B两部分中的情景对话都是展示重点知识内容的语言环境，Let’s learn 中的重点词汇，让学生们掌握更多的描述景物的名词，丰富学生们的词汇量，提高学生们的灵活表达能力。第五课时的Read and write，Read and match和Let’s check均是巩固重点知识的的精简训练。Story time把刚刚学会的新知识融入到故事情节当中，在令人啼笑的小故事中完成对所学内容的拓展和延伸。
本单元侧重于语言的交流和运用，毕竟是五年级的学生了，他们的兴趣没有低年级学生那么高，但是学生的竞争意识有所增强，学生从知识能力水平上来看，学生们在第五单元已经学会There be 句型的运用，这单元要从单数和复数两个方面的一般疑问句形式去描述景物。教学时可以以重点知识为基本出发点，设计多种不同的活动逐步帮助学生掌握本单元重点，突破学习中的难点做到能运用所学的语言知识点进行灵活的交际。还要充分利用网络资源、图像、自制PPT课件、词卡、人物头饰等等教学工具，为学生们营造更多的游戏活动场景，以小组竞争为手段，激发学生的学习热情，积极参与各种对话活动，提高学习效率。让学生在热爱大自然、保护大自然、保护环境的积极情感中学习。

我今天的授课内容是PEP五年级上册英语第六单元第二课时，重点是使学生掌握并学会运用“Is there…? Yes, there is./ No, there isn’t.”句型。一堂课下来，教学设计的最初目的是达到了，大部分学生都能轻松自如地运用该句型进行简单的口语交流。但是，课后我发觉这堂课好像少了点什么。过后细想来，原来是：
一、当今的教学理念是要面向全体学生，尽可能地让每一位你的学生都参与到你的教学当中来，给每一位学生平等的机会，不能偏袒学习好的学生，更不能落下那些后进生。在这一堂课里，每一次我都是让学生们主动举手参与活动，因为我觉得首先得尊重学生，让他们主动去展示自己的风采，懂得自我推荐，而不是被动地由老师点名。在生生互相运用今天所学的句型交流后（在这个过程中，我让学生们自己找搭档），其中他们的兴致是还可以的，我也走到他们中间巡视、指导，如有问题及时给予解决。但是，当我想请一些学生表演对话时，我发现举手的同学寥寥无几，我觉问题还是出在老师的身上，我为何不多些鼓励呢？有些学生是需要老师给他拉一把，他才会向前走一步的，不是吗？是呀，有时候我们大人在做事时也有可能需要别人给你信心，你才会往前走，更何总况小孩子呢？因此，在以后的教学中，我自觉得得加强这方面的引导。
二、自己预期的开心课堂并没有达到。在课堂上，我记得自己也始终是带着“爱”和“笑”去走进学生们的，尽管如此，给我的感觉是学生们并不是很轻松，似乎比我更紧张！我想了想，是不是由于自己平时对他们的要求太严格了？所以，课堂里面的笑声少了许多。
三、在整个教学活动中，有一个环节是“make a new talk”, 这环节我并没有好好利用，与前后的教学内容衔接不够缓和，这需要我进行反思并修改。
这是我应该自省的方面。在以后的教学中，我会采取“严慈并济，双管齐下”的方法，让“笑与快乐”重回课堂。
