This would be of great useful to the studying of this period.II next, I will say something about the teaching material. The selected teaching material is the story time of this unit. it is a short dialogue presented in four pictures in which Su Yang and Su Hai require their mum about the positions of their own things during their moving to the new home.III Based on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:The first one is knowledge aim. By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to understand the meaning of the dialogue and can listen, speak and recognize the new words, such as “bedroom, living room, and kitchen”, and the key sentence structures, “where’s...? it’s..., where’re ...,they’re...”The second one is ability aim. After studying this lesson, Ss will be able to inquire and express the positions of different things and can reconstruct the test in the post-task stage.The third one is affective aim. Apart from the necessities, such as books, BB and chalks. I’ll use multimedia computer, pictures and wordcards.(3’20’’)Well, it’s time to talk about the most important part, namely the teaching procedure. I have divided my lesson into three stages, pre-task stage,while-task stage and post-task stage.1. Pre-task stage aims at arousing Ss’ interest in the topic. So in this stage,I have prepared two activities.Activity I . Ss are required to sing a song 《On in under》. Ss have already learnt this song in Grade 3, they are quite familiar with it. So I’ll ask them to sing it together after the tape and do some gestures at the same time.(This activity can not only attract Ss attention and form a better English learning surrounding but also help them review some prepositions.) Activity II As the song is about positions. So in activity 2, I have prepared a game for the Ss: hide and seek. Before playing the game, I’ll help them to understand the rules. Ss are required to play the game in groups. Group one and group two. If I’m going to hide a book, Ss in group one should close their eyes first and then other Ss in group two ask them “where’s the book?” together. They can guess by saying “is it …?one by one. Whoever isright, he or she will be given an affirmative answer: “yes, it is.” If not, we say “no, it isn’t.” then we’ll change in groups.(The purpose of designing this activity is to encourage all the Ss to participate in class so as to review the learnt knowledge , as well as to get them prepared to the studying of today’s new knowledge. )2’2. Then we enter the while-task stage. This stage mainly focuses on the exploitation of the text. It aims to help the reader understand the content of the text. So first of all, I will present a picture of Su Yang and ask Ss two questions. Q one is Who’s she? Q two is where is she? In question two, I will provide Ss with some clues: it has some rooms; we can see some beds in it. We can sleep and have dinner in it everyday. In this way, I elicit the topic of this lesson, namely home.Secondly I’ll set up a situation :welcome to my home. In this situation, I’ll ask Ss to see some pictures of my home during which I’ll elicit and present the words “bedroom, living room, kitchen”. Then Ss will practice saying and remembering those words.(By presenting vivid pictures, Ss can understand and remember the new words easily.)1’6’’In my home, we can see a living room, a kitchen and some bedrooms. What about Su Yang’s? with this question, I will instruct Ss to learn the dialogue. Here they are required to finish three tasks.Task 1.Watch the cartoon and answer the question: what rooms can you see in Su Yang’s new home? The question will be given to Ss first so that they can watch the cartoon intentionally.(The reason of designing this activity is that while-reading activities should begin with a general understanding of the text, and larger units provide the context for understanding the smaller units. By asking them to watch the cartoon, they can sense the content of the text as a whole one.)Su Yang and Su Hai are in their new home. They are looking for things. Then what are they looking for. Here Ss are asked to finish task 2. each S will be given a piece of paper. They should listen to the tape and tick out the things Su Yang and Su Hai are looking for. then we’ll check the answers and Ss are required to read the words together.(Listening for specific information is one of the five major listening skills. with this task, Ss’ ability in listening will be trained.)Su Yang and Su Hai are looking for things. But among those ones, which is Su Yang looking for, and which is Su Hai looking for and where are the things. With these two questions, I design the third task: read and match. Ssare required to scan the text ,find the answer and do the matching exercise on the paper.(By scanning the text, Ss’ time and energy are saved and their reading speed and efficiency are increased. Their reading ability will be trained.)2’7’’After finishing task three, Ss are guided to practice reading the text after the tape, after the teacher and by themselves. Then I will give them a chance to work in groups of three to act the dialogue.Those are what we will do in while-task stage. Then we move on to the post-task stage. Here we also have two tasks:First, I will make use of the matching exercise to ask Ss to say a rhyme.“where, where, where’s the bag? Bedroom, bedroom, it’s in the bedroom…”(in this way , all the Ss can practice saying the words and the sentence patterns and check to what degree they have got command of the knowledge.) As we know that nowadays text reconstruction is widely promoted in our everyday teaching. It is the reorganization of teaching resources , and the way to realize the conversion between teacher and the students. So, after saying the rhyme, I’ll ask Ss to reconstruct the text. I’ll set up a situation to them, that is Su Hai and Su Yang are moving to their new home today, they arevery busy. It’s ten o’clock. They have to take part in Yang Ling’s birthday party now, but they can not find their things.Ss will be divided into groups of four. They are instructed to finish the reconstruction in four steps. Step 1: Go through the book and Choose the sentences. Step2: add some knowledge that they have learnt.Step 3. Enjoy themselves by role playing. Step 4. Share your new text.1’54’’Well, maybe this is one of the Ss’ works.(by asking Ss to reconstruct the text, Ss can consolidate and personalize the use of the knowledge. Their ability in writing and speaking will be trained, their subjectivity will be thoroughly performed.)After finishing this task, some Ss can grasp the knowledge well, but others can’t. revision is very important. So in the end of this lesson, I’ll give them two assignments. Good morning, my dear judges. I am NO.10. I’m glad to be here to share my teaching plan with you. I’d like to say something about Part A of Unit 5,标题PEP primary English Book 4 in six parts. Firstly, I will talk about the teaching contents. The topic of this lesson is about and the key points are the new words and sentence patterns: Are these yours and Is this John's as well as its answers: No, they aren't. No,it isn't.
Secondly, it is about the students. In Grade Four, the students are active and curious. They like to take part in activities and playing games. Also, they want to get encouragements and positive feedbacks.
Thirdly, I will talk about the teaching objectives including knowledge objectives, ability objectives and emotional objectives. At first, knowledge objectives: enable students to master the sentence pattern Is this yours? and its answers : Make sure they can use these words and expressions in real situation. Then, ability objectives: students listening and speaking ability can be improved by the end of the class. The emotional objective is to cultivate students’consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition. Also, lead students
to love and cherish life.
Let's move on to the teaching aids. In this lesson, I will use projector multimedia blackboard pictures drawings to make the knowledge more intuitive and interesting to understand. Then, It's about the teaching method.
According to students’physiological and psychological characteristic, I will use communicative language teaching method, TPR teaching method and situational language teaching method.
Then, I'll talk about the teaching procedure. My class is composed of 5 steps.
Step 1: warming-up. First, I will great my students like Hello Hello how are you today. Nice to meet you! Afterwards, I'll invite students to sing a song with me.
The purpose is to create a free atmosphere. Also, it helps students to be familiar with the knowledge for the next step. Step 2: presentation.
At first, I’ll present some drawings and do some free talk with my students to lead the new words and sentence out. What is this?

Yes, these are clothes.
Are there yours?
After presenting the dialogue, I will use the multimedia to play the part Let's talk . Students will read after the recorder. During this, I'll correct the pronunciation of some difficult words.
To present this way , It's much easier for students to learn and understand the meaning.
Step 3 Practices.
At first, I’ll divide my class into 2 teams for competition. Once a team win a game , they can climb one step for the flag. The fast team who touch the flag will be the winner.
Activity one Louder and lower voice .
Activity Two Magic Ear
In this game, I will read the key words and sentences without a voice. Students should guess what I said by looking at my mouth and speak it out loudly.
Next is a guessing game. Students will come to the front to act the weather condition out while the other students will guess. (动物imitate animals 天气)
Next is a passing game. Students will pass a word or sentence
one by one.
Every game will be played several times. The fast and correct team will be the winner.
After the competition, I will give presents to the winners. Also, I will praise the active students and encourage others. Activities help students to learn faster and arose students’interest in learning English.
Step 4 Summary .
To consolidate what they have learnt, I’ll guide students to conclude all the key points.
Meanwhile, I’ll lead students to love and cherish life. We have rain wind and sunshine. Life is wonderful, isn’t?
Step 5 Homework.
Today's homework is to
write the story and share it with us tomorrow.
It's necessary for students to do some extensive exercise to consolidate what they have learnt.
The last is my blackboard design. I’ll design it like this. The title is on the top in the middle of the blackboard, key words on the left with pictures beside them, the sentence on the right and the drawings for the co mpetition here .That’s all for my teaching design .
