As a reasoning novel fan, my favorite novel is Arthur Conan Doyle’s SHELOCK HOLMES. But today I don’t want to talk about the novel. I’d like to introduce two works of it First is the movie SHELOCK HOLMES. I think most of us have watched it. Although many people argue that this film overturn the image of HOLMES in their mind, I still insist that it is an excellent film. In this movie, Shelock not only is a detective, but also a fighter. He values the friendship with Watson. To make Watson stay with him, he even destroys the meeting with Watson’s girlfriend. However, Watson forgives him, and help Holmes catch the criminal.Watson in this movie is different from the novel as well. He becomes smart and brave. Sometimes, he even plays tricks on Shelock. But when faced with danger, he never hesitates to risk his life, just to save Holmes. It’s no doubt that he is a loyal friend for Holmes.The second is a TV play named DETECTIVE SHELOCK of BBC. This is a story happened in 21th century. Holmes and Watson use the computers and cellphones to catch the offenders. Holmes is handsome and talented. He can judge people by his exact logic. But his weakness is that he is lack of feelings, until he meets John Watson. Watson appreciates his wisdom, saves his life. What’s more, Watson is the only person who can stand his bad temper. Watson is necessary to Holmes. Moreover, though Shelock is still heartless, I believe that Watson will change his mind finally.This TV play is full of exciting cases.
