文|王咏梅对学生进行核心素养的培育,需要教师开发核心素养的育人资源,找准核心素养的实施路径,引领学生从感知到认同,直到内化成自身的内在素养。
英文绘本蕴含丰富的育人元素,已经成为英语学科育人的重要资源,也是学生形成核心素养的重要路径之一。
一、绘本蕴含的核心素养英文绘本形象生动,富有童趣;情境真实地道,显示异国文化;内容贴近生活,容易产生情感共鸣。
英文绘本用简洁的语言阐述生活的哲理,用浅显的故事阐述深刻的内涵。
随着英文绘本的不断引进,我们对英文绘本的研究随之深入。
在研究中我们发现,英文绘本中蕴含丰富的育人资源,具有强大的育人功能,可以发展学生的六大核心素养。
(一)绘本可以积淀学生人文底蕴绘本中蕴含的人文理念和审美情趣,可以塑造学生良好的品格和健康的心灵,培养学生具备一定的人文精神和人文底蕴。
人文精神是一种对全面发展的理想人格的肯定和塑造,是人对自我生命的关怀,对自我尊严的维护,对自我价值的认同。
有些英文绘本关注孩子的生命体验,引导他们探索丰富的心灵世界,带领他们走出心理困境。
如安东尼·布朗的《威利》(Willy )系列,以幽默风趣的语言展示了威利从自卑到自信的过程,就像一位能量满满的心灵导师,引导孩子走出心理的阴霾,保持积极阳光的心态。
很多英文绘本的主题是守护人性的美好和温暖。
《猜猜我有多爱你》(Guess how much I love you )《逃家小兔》(The runaway bunny )描写的都是家庭成员间血脉相连、代代相传的骨肉之情,是一种人与生俱来的最原始、最自然、最朴实、最永恒的美好情感。
这些故事有助于滋养孩子的心灵,丰富孩子的精神世界,培养孩子的人文精神,积淀孩子的人文底蕴。
(二)绘本可以培养学生科学精神有些科普类的绘本解释科学现象,进行科普答疑,培养孩子积极思考、主动探索、善于观察、敢于质疑的科学精神。
绘本可以用于对孩子进行科学启蒙,培养孩子科学探索的精神。
世界上公认的第一本绘本是《图画中见到的世界》,一部由捷克教育家扬·阿姆斯·夸美纽斯(John Amos Com-enius )为孩子创作的科普教科书。
