Step 1 Preview
1. Oral practice. Watch a video and guess a person. Describe what he looks like.
2. Presentation, let’s play a game and decide who the winner is. And then describe what
the winner looks like. Talk about the differences between them.
设计意图：通过口语训练,游戏参与法复习词汇和短语为下面的写作做准备。
Step 2 Warm-up and lead-in
Task 1: Brainstorming. Write more words about describing people.
Let’s make sentences with words from height, build, hair and other features.
And then have a report.
Task 2: Practice in pairs.
Show a picture of classmate called Jack and ask students to talk about him in pairs.

特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句
一、引导词：由连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which和连接副词when, where, why, how引导的宾语从句一般由特殊疑问句变化而来。这些连接代词和连接副词在宾语从句中充当某个成分，不能省略。
如：Do you know who (whom) they are waiting for?
I can't imagine why he did that thing．
二、语序：（1）由于宾语从句要求陈述句语序，所以特殊疑问句在从句中要变成陈述语序。
如：How much does this coat cost? → I want to know how much this
coat costs．
