What is TPR?
----TPR ----TPR is a technique to help children to learn by actions. Children first listen to the commands in the foreign language and respond only through movement and actions. It gives children time to listen and they are not forced to speak so quickly. Children’s response shows that they understand the new language. Gradually, children take over the teacher’s role and give commands in the foreign language. Learners can develop listening and speaking through TPR. And it’s particularly useful for beginners.
The advantages of using TPR
3.TPR can help to monitor the class. --It can cheer the children up and calm the children down. --It can change the pace of the class. 4.TPR can be a practical teaching approach in a big class. --All the children can perform at their seats. --The teacher can divide the class up into groups, and the groups waiting will be watching and learning.
