二、说学生:因为本节内容是本章节的第三课时，同学们已经通过前面的学习，基本了解什么是动词的过去式，所以通过学习本节内容，同学们能进一步加深对过去式的应用和理解。
同时也能提高同学们的综合能力。
三、教学目标：课程标准：通过学习要求学生能熟练应用动词的不同时态，形成初步的语言交际能力及综合原能力。
1、知识与技能：（1）学习并掌握本章节相关的重点单词及短语。
（2）、初步了解动词过去式的基本构成（3）、能准确运用简单的过去式句法2、过程与方法：通过学生参与操练和大量语言信息的接触来完成本章节的教学目标。

四、教学重点与难点：1、教学重点：由于本节课内容学习动词的过去式，这一时态是初中内容中的重点时态，所以首先要了解并掌握一般过去式的基本用法，其次要熟练应用一般过去式的一般问句及肯定和否定回答，只要掌握这两点就能打好基础。
确立依据：（1）、从历年中考内容看，一般过去时是必考内容，学生今后打基础。
（2）在平时的阅读与口语交际中出现频率较高。
2、教学难点：（1）、不规则动词的过去式。
（2）、一般过去式的问句。
由于动词分为规则和不规则两种形式，规则容易掌握，但不规则变化多，学生一开始记忆困难，但在学习时，老师只要强化训练，交给学生记忆方法，就一定会熟练应用。
确立依据：（1）、学生只对最近学过的动词过去式会变化。
（2）对不规则和规则变化容易混淆。
