离职面谈(exit interview)作为人力资源管理事后控制的一项基本职能,无论是对用人单位来说还是对离职员工以及在职员工来说,其重要性都是毋庸置疑的。

1.离职面谈不仅能使双方(用人单位与离职者)提及争端,发现更深层次的问题,而且能够帮助分析争端,给用人单位改进的机会。

用人单位可通过内部政策和管理制度上的改进,调动积极因素以留住现有员工。

2.离职面谈能使公司集中精力研究人才流动市场趋势、技术发展趋势以及竞争对手优势,从而制定相应的人力资源战略。

3.离职面谈是验证留人措施有效与否的途径,通过寻求员工离职的真正原因,可以完善用人单位的留人机制。

4.离职面谈是企业人力资源管理的继续,它体现了企业人性化的一面,能为企业赢得更高的职业声誉。

5.离职面谈给予了离职员工一次机会,以确定自己是否作了一个仓促的决定。

6.离职面谈既是对离职员工既往职业生涯的总结、评价,也是对其顺利适应新生活进行的必要的职业指导。

7.离职面谈既是对离职员工的抚慰或挽留,也是对在职员工的心里安慰,毕竟谁也不愿意员工的离职给在职员工带来心里波动。

那么,如何才能做好离职面谈呢?一、遵循面谈原则1.实效性原则。

这是面谈的首要原则。

面谈的目的主要是了解员工为什么要离职,企业在哪些方面存在不足,然后针对这些原因改进,防止流失更多的员工。

所以面谈不应该草草结束,沦为形式化、表面文章。

为收到实效,必须重视本文下面将谈到的每一个面谈环节。

2.真诚性原则。

让员工感受到你的真诚,感受到公司对他的尊重与关怀。

如果员工觉得你只是在应付,例行公事;如果员工认为你在揭其疮疤、挑其刺,你都不会得到积极的、有价值的回馈。

也不要让员工觉得你要他为公司贴金,否则面谈将变成对双方都无益的礼节性交谈。

3.开放性原则。

面谈应以开放问题为主,设计的面谈问题要留有较宽的思考空间,面谈时也不要只是按事先列出的问题逐项惯例式地发问,让员工依照个人经验问答而不加过多限制。
