渣打银行笔试经验分析
1月20号看得渣打春招的消息于是填了网申信息,第二天就收到了笔试
的邀请并说明在五天内做完,那时候正好过年我比较懒,一直拖到第五天。
用
了一下午研究了渣打的Global Abstract 和Numerical Assessment,然后开始正式做题。
首先,对于逻辑题来说,做完之后发现很少有一模一样的原题,即使有因
为做题时间很紧你根本来不及找,所以逻辑题就踏踏实实按照自己训练几个小时,找到规律,做题的时候才不会慌乱。
附件一去年逻辑题的真题,附件二是
对逻辑题的分类。
其次,对于计算题,相比逻辑题就简单些了,基本都是原题,个别选项或
者题目的顺序可能颠倒一下,做题的时候看清楚就好。
最后就是性格测试了,我在前两项做完之后一直不敢做性格测试,因为听
说这个是刷人最多的,于是在等了5天之后收到了渣打的final remind,期间
一直在纠结到底是be yourself 还是根据不同的skill分类然后从高到底排序,我选择了后者,这里多谢前辈提供的几份资料,根据自己实际情况调整了下
skill 的顺序,硬着头皮完成了测试。
于是上周四收到电面通知,约了下周二,这几天自己也在积极准备,同时
附上笔试时用的几份资料,希望对大家有用。

每项测试有两组题,每组四小题。
每组只给出3min时间作答。
语言忘了大概是什么建筑和环保,企业大学生研究院啥的。
反正在考试之前我在坛子里看到了有很多大神提供的笔经里都有提到过。
数字:电影院和油漆,都不难。
但是一定要注意时间。
逻辑:和PwC给的官方样题是一样的题型。
性格测试:一定要完全真实的写出自己的答案,因为有很多题目是在后面会换一种问法问你,要是答案不一样,那岂不是囧了。
以上是,4月5日tj所的题目。
接下来,小弟想谈谈我的复习经验和考试经验。
小弟考的可以说很差。
自己都觉得AC面无望了,本来不是很想写这篇笔经的。
但是为了以后想要考PWc的同道中人着想,还是说说小弟我碰到的弯路,避免大家重蹈覆辙。
小弟复习的时候找了很多题来做,什么渣打的经典21题,KPMG经典24题,Numerical1-3,保洁的84逻辑题(这个最扯淡,PwC逻辑根本和保洁的题型完全不一样)等种种。
这里,小弟要呼吁的是,在准备笔试的时候,一定要筛选复习材料,选择对笔试有用的复习材料多练习,尤其是要练习速度。
其实Pwc的题不难,但是时间就是只有3分钟。
我想说的是Pwc官方demo那个要会做,要记住这么做。
而且还要练习掐着时间做。
小弟我复习的时候就是做了大量的题,但是没有练习时间的控制。
所以小弟我这次糗了。
坛子里有很多练习题,包括kpmg dtt的题,p&G,渣打的题,不是说不建议大家去练习他们家的题,是想建议大家有重点的去练习这些题。
比如说:我马上要考PWc,小弟建议是要把Pwc的官方demo做的熟透了,然后时间把握上非常好(按掐着时间按时完成,甚至能够提前完成)之后,再去练习其他的题目。

通过两天的培训感觉到不管是处于领导还是员工都要充实自我学习和实践,培养大家都要对每项工作充满激情,快乐工作、快乐接受和快乐地喊出:“是,保证完成任务!”孙子说:“夫将者,智、信、仁、勇、严 ;夫将者,三令而五申,让后行赏罚”。

分享~很好的SHL试题攻略转贴:现在越来越多的外资企业(包括若干投行、商业银行、industry的MT program等)已经把笔试(online test或者现场笔试)纳入应聘程序,其中很多公司的test用题源于一家名为SHL的机构。
偶曾经参加过一些投行(UBS,ML, HSBC IB),HSBC BDP program, 渣打等笔试,积累了一定的经验(感觉总体来说投行online test难度相对较高,其他稍低),借此机会和大家分享一下,希望从来没有接触过这种类型test的同学能对此有个感性认识,也希望参加过该类test的同学能获得有用的信息,结合自己的特点加以改进。
SHL类型test的一般分两部分,numerical test和verbal test。
一,numerical test numerical test就是给出一张图或表,然后让你根据题干,提取有用的信息进行简单或复杂的计算,主要目的(个人以为)是考察你的基本运算,经济学常识和sense,以及迅速从纷繁复杂的大量信息里提取有价值信息的能力(换句话说,就是眼睛要快,手要快,脑子更要快)。
印象中,online test的numerical test大概25道题左右,25分钟,现场笔试平均每题时间类似,如果要全做完的话,最好能保证一分钟一题的速度。
答案选项有的时候会有个none of these的选项,就是说不是上面的其他选项给出的答案。
做过numerical test的同学可能都有过这样的经历:算出答案后,找来找去没有对应的选项,然后怀疑自己是不是算错了,其实很可能就是因为以上选项都是错的,所以应该选择none of these。
为了避免确实是自己算错的情况,你可以比较一下你的答案和其他选项的答案,如果相差太离谱,那有可能真的是你算错了。
另外,作numerical test往往涉及到一些运算,因此有必要配备计算器、笔和草稿纸(现场笔试除计算器一般都会发)。

10题往后的难度不知道比practice高多少。

我就倒霉了,以为21道都是和practice一样的白痴题,所以指导思想成了保证正确率,一眼就能看出答案的题也用计算器算一下,结果做到17题就到时间了。
自信前17个至少对15个,但还是被ko了。
所以把个人经验拿出来跟校友们分享,记住,题真的不难,关键是时间。

(一)求职规划:目标明确,成功的概率才会更大。
建议大家在开始找工作之前一定要想清楚自己的优势是什么,兴趣在哪里,将来想从事哪个方向的工作。
刚开始想这个问题的时候很多人都很迷茫,这是正常的,那就先大致定若干个方向作为重点,求职的过程中再慢慢锁定。
我最开始的时候给自己选了四个方向作为重点关注:咨询(战略和运营方面的),外资银行(花旗,汇丰,渣打等),快速消费品(玛氏,P&G,联合利华,强生等),四大会计师事务所。
其他优秀的企业如西门子、GE, 壳牌,BP英国石油等当然也不能放过,只是自己在这些领域没有什么优势,成功的概率不大,所以只是海投一下而已。
求职过程中我逐渐明白,大的战略咨询公司在国内只看重四大高校的学生,首先在教育背景这一关我就很难通过,而我又没有优秀到可以让他们不拘一格的地步,所以只好放弃。
而我也逐渐发现自己不喜欢做财务,所以四大从笔试就都放弃了。
这样我的求职目标就越来越明确,精力越来越集中,发挥的也越来越好。
(二)招聘信息搜集:除了大型的招聘网站如CHINAHR,51JOB等,再推荐两个和,里面有很全的招聘信息和很及时的面经。
再有就是各大高校的BBS求职板块。
想去北京的就看PKU和SMTH的,还有外经贸的小天鹅,这3个外企信息比较多。
想去上海的就关注复旦和上交的。
(这里提一下,厦门的信息确实太少了,有条件的还是要“走出去”,北大每天的宣讲就3-4场,招聘信息更是多的让人忙不过来。
)建议,把搜集来的信息整理一下,投过的做个标记。

渣打的笔试我觉得有点变态,在面试之前的全部步骤(aptitudes test 和 numerical test)都是在网上。第一步你将在他们的主页上填写你 的基本资料,完毕之后要等他们审核,假如觉得你的背景不错,再会通知 你去做 a-test 和 n-test。a-test 就不说了,没有什么可以预备的,n-test 对于以前没有做过这类题目的人是有肯定难度的,它考察你看图标,表格 和简洁计算的能力,但是由于不适应,所以我听说不少人第一次都没有做 好。而且第一次做 test 的时间还是有点紧急的。(另外提一句,HSBC 以 及恒生银行的 n-test 在难度和形式上和渣打的几乎没有太大的区分,所 以做好了渣打的 test 会一劳永逸。)为了应付这种状况,建议可以申请一 个假 id(id 以 email 区分),先练习一下再说,而且必尽不是假如 GRE 一 样的题库,在你做第二次的时候,有的题目是重复的。(说道 n-test,UBS 的题是我做过的最难的,包括要你将几个汇率翻来覆去的倒,比较 bt。)
