根据她们的观点，含有灵芝的啤酒几乎是类似于标准的啤酒，只是略有提高的丰满度和整体印象。
正如所预期的那样，女性不喝啤酒者评价标准啤酒比喝啤酒者更糟糕一点，但也认为富含灵芝的啤酒更好。
他们发现唯一的缺陷就是香气，这被认为是相当差的（图4）。
男性和女性的测试员之间存在显著的差异。
男性啤酒消费者和戒酒者更倾向于丰富的口感和强烈的苦味，而女性消费者通常更喜欢轻的味道和香气。
结论啤酒中添加灵芝提取物作为天然营养补充剂的来源是非常令人喜爱的并且是啤酒戒断者甚至可以接受的。
