What’s that一、教学分析（一）教材分析:本课使用的教材为外研社《英语》（新标准）（供三年级起始用）第一册Module7 Unit 2 What’s that? 本模块的主题是介绍自己的物品和询问并识别物品，分两个单元进行学习，本节课为本模块的第二单元的第一课时，在学习完第一单元的基础上，进一步学习询问并识别物品。
例：“What’s that? It’s ….”（二）学情分析:由于本节课属于本模块的第二单元，学生在之前的模块及本模块的上一单元的学习中，已经积累了一些物品的名称（如：chair, desk, door, window,…），也对上一单元的目标语“What’s this?”及其回答“It’s…”有了些许的掌握与运用。
为此，在导入本课新知之前，运用“温故而知新”的指导思想，先带领学生复习上一单元的旧知，再适时融入新的目标语，结合SB Unit2的活动设计，激发学生学习的浓厚兴趣。
二、教学目标（一）知识目标：⒈能听、说、认、读单词：that, ball, book, schoolbag.⒉能听、说、认、读句型：“What’s that?”及其“It’s…”的回答方式。
（二）技能目标：⒈能用所学词汇和句型询问并识别物品。
⒉通过模仿人物对话，提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
⒊能弄懂用于询问近处或远处物品句型的联系与区别。
（三）情感态度目标：在认知过程中，培养学生乐于观察、勤于思考的良好思维习惯，善于提问并与他人沟通，增进友谊。
三、教学重、难点（一）教学重点：听、说、认、读单词“that, ball, book, schoolbag”认识，掌握和运用句型“What’s that?”及其“It’s…”的回答方式。
(二) 教学难点：理解与恰当运用“What’s that?”询问远处的人或物。
