本课内容为新目标英语Go for it!九年级英语unit 6 Section B的阅读篇章,主要讲解篮球的发明、发展情况,话题贴近生活,能激发学生的学习兴趣。

通过本节课的学习能进一步掌握一般过去时被动语态的结构。

让学生通过阅读,能喜欢篮球,热爱运动,热爱生活。

教学重难点在于让学生学会用一般过去时的被动语态对事物进行描述,并能感知、理解、掌握课文内容,完成每个层次的阅读任务,并能用自己的话来表达自己的感受。

英语课堂教学是初中生学习英语的主要渠道,如果教师不遵循语言教学规律,全面贯彻英语教学原则,教法单一呆板,只注重知识传授,不注意能力培养,只注重讲解,不注重实践,这与“新课标英语教学知识建构主义”的理念是不相符的。

根据新课标的课改要求,开课杨老师通过与学生口头问答的形式引出话题;然后通过游戏情景设置,观看视频等,激发了学生学习的兴趣。
