一、教材分析
㈠教材的地位及作用
本课是牛津初中英语starter第三模块colours and things(颜色和事物)第一部分colours 中第一课时的内容。
内容上:从第一模块的getting to know me(了解我,这里强调的是人),到第二模块的places around me(我周围的地方,这里强调的是环境),再到本模块强调事物的特征(也就是颜色)及归属,选用的教学内容与前两模块联系紧密,是它们的延续和扩展。
在顺序安排上则附合学生循序渐进的认知特点(因为这是初一新生),非常贴近学生的生活实际和思想实际。
语法上:作为第三模块中的第一部分,本单元语法部分的形容词性物主代词则为下一单元的名词性物主代词作了铺垫。
课时安排:本单元内容包括welcome to the unit , listening, speaking, reading, grammar, pronunciation和task几个组成部分。
在本课时中,主要教学welcome to the unit ,listening和speaking部分。
㈡教学目标
知识目标:学会各种颜色和一些服装的英语单词,能正确运用形容词性物主代词来修饰名词,掌握询问颜色的句型:What colour is it? What colour are they?及询问归属的句型Whose …is this ? Whose is this …?
能力目标:能熟练说出颜色和服装的英文,并会运用所学句型询问事物的颜色及事物的归属,并能正确运用形容词性物主代词,
情感目标:让学生在学习过程中感悟、体验、实践并参与,突出兴趣培养,注重提高学生自主学习的意识和能力。
教学的重点和难点:主要还是颜色,服装,及询问颜色及归属的句型。
尤其是要注意1.回答颜色时,颜色前不加修饰词What colour is it ? It’s green.2.衣服中有些名词一般情况下用复数形式表示e.g. trousers shoes jeans 3.形容词性物主代词通常只能做定语,来修饰名词。
e.g. my book his name our rulers
二、教法和学法
在本课时的教学过程中,我主要采用了如下的几种教学方法:
1、直观教学,启发学生积极参与。
借助多媒体中的图片和动画让学生直接感受和理解语言,通过视、听、说加深印象,强化记忆,激发学生学习的兴趣。
2、创设情景,诱导学生积极参与的欲望。
3、任务教学,设置几个小任务让学生来完成,让学生动脑动手,促进学生参与的积极性。
4、对学生参与的态度及效果及时的给予适度的鼓励性评价,以利于调动学生的参与积极性。
三、教学过程
本课时我主要是采用导入------新授颜色------chant and colour------新授形容词性物主代词------游戏巩固------习题巩固等几个步骤来安排的。
其中新授颜色和新授形容词性物主代词这两个环节我分别采用了好几种不同的形式。
第一步导入,我用北京奥运会运动员入场的视频,各国旗帜及奥运五环给学生一个视觉上的冲击,因为这些视频和图片的颜色都非常鲜艳,而且是暑假里才发生的事情,更容易引起学生急于学习各种颜色的兴趣。
新授颜色部分,我先用一个FLASH教授学生关于颜色的英文单词,并且拓展了如果一件事物有两种颜色的表达方式red and white,接着用跟着听力朗读的方式让学生进入到Welcome to the unit这个环节,并用连线的方式来完成本部分内容的教学。
接着让学生联系图片和实际进行句型操练:What’s this/that? It’s a/an…What colour is it? It’s …What are these/those? They’re…What colour are they ? They’re…并且其中拓展了dark yellow和light pink这两种颜色的表达方式,最后通过听力来检查学生对颜色学习的掌握情况,努力做到“学中用,用中学”。
Chant and colour这个环节的设计有两种目的,一是对颜色的复习,并且掌握colour在colour the picture这个词组中是作动词用,二是引导出whose的新授。
并且由于这个FLASH 生动活泼,可以起到调节气氛的作用。
在当初设计这个环节时,我想过让两位学生上台着色,但是由于感觉学生可能不熟悉操作,很容易在这个环节浪费时间,所以我先着色,让学生有个参照的对象,无形中也节约了时间。
事实证明,由于多媒体教室的鼠标的问题,我操作起来都不是很方便,学生操作起来就更困难了。
接下来就进入到新授形容词性物主代词这个环节,我先用复习“who’s”来和本堂课要学的“whose”作个比较。
接着从复习a brown cap引导出his brown cap,接着再引导出Whose cap is this? It’s_________cap.Whose is this cap?It’s_______cap.Is it___________cap?Y es,it is.的句型,由易到难,由浅入深,使教学层层推进。
对这些句型进行操练之后,再利用课本上的speaking部分归纳出8个形容词性物主代词,并通过用形容词性物主代词代替下划线单词及选择正确的代词填空这两种题型让学生弄清楚形容词性物主代词的用法,做到“边新授,边巩固”。
另外我还补充了“Lily and lu cy’s”and“Lily’s and lucy’s”在用法上的区别。
接下来“寻找失主”的游戏,让学生既巩固了颜色部分的内容,也巩固了形容词性物主代词的内容。
最后通过几个竞赛习题对本堂课要求掌握的知识作一些必要的补充及巩固。
总之,整堂课我立求真正树立以学生发展为本的思想,全方位,多角度地精心设计教学过程,合理安排教学步骤,关注学生的兴趣和生活体验,使他们在轻松愉快的氛围中获得新授知识,提高了运用语言的能力。
四、教学反思:
本堂课由于密度较大,内容和形式安排过多,感觉有点紧凑,个体操练达成度不够,让人感觉有点“蜻蜓点水”,学生在某些环节吃的还是“夹生饭”。
另外由于时间紧,加上这些是初一新生,在指令方面也有说得不清楚的地方,学生一时反应不过来。
在游戏环节,有此游戏的目的性不是太明确,其实效性还有待商榷。
