一、整体教学思路
1、教学内容分析
本节课是一篇人物传记的记叙文，讲述的是一位国际巨星奥黛丽·赫本。文章以时间为线索，从赫本的出生到她去世，简单的介绍了她的一身。文章紧紧围绕开头第一段的“三个Great”既：伟大的美人，伟大的女演员和伟大的人文主义者，从这三个方面来写赫本的一生。作为Reading的第一课时，学生的主要任务是：疏通课文；对文章的结构有总体上的认识；能运用阅读策略来解决问题就OK了。
2、学情分析
对于我们学校的九年级学生来说，这么长的一篇Reading，而且里面还有许多的生词和短语，学生在第一节课里，主要是疏通课文。有了第六单元TV Programmes的铺垫，可能理解起来要好些。本次阅读材料中的赫本，距离他们有点远，估计学生不是很感兴趣，而且学生对赫本也不是很了解。
具体到902班学生的英语水平，是参差不齐，有一部分学生对英语没有兴趣，所以本节课我打算用小组合作学习的方式进行，让他们互相帮助。
3、教法分析
本节课采用以学生为中心的任务型教学法，同时学生以合作学习的形式进行发现和探究学习。
4、教学辅助
黑板，多媒体，任务清单等。
5、设计思路
本节课旨在培养学生的阅读理解能力，着重训练学生通过阅读策略来获取信息的能力。
因此，本节课的基本思路是，通过六个Tasks来贯穿整节课，在阅读的过程中层层推进，让学生在完成Tasks的时候，体会阅读策略的运用，最终达到运用阅读策略来解决问题的实践能力。
