一天,主任给我送来了一个新学生,她便是小婷,来自本溪农村的一个女孩。

一说话,班里有几个“淘气包”便发出了哄笑。

我坚持每周听写四次单词,即先每学完一单元听写一次,学完一模块再听写一次。

听写完后我都会立即批改,并用一个自制的小本子记录听写情况:全对的有哪些,有进步的是哪些,哪些需要重新听写。

并在班上表扬全对的和有进步的。

要求重新听写的课后找组长或到办公室找我进行听写。

一段时间后,我训练了几个有责任心的小组长,让那些要重新听写的找小组长去完成。

放学后如果还没合格(错三个单词以内算合格),就留下来继续背。

但一想到强行留学生不仅会让老师疲惫,而且也不符合学校教育的规定。

学生晚回家也存在一定的安全隐患,同时对老师也会产生抵触心理。

所以又立即采取家校合力,让家长配合在家给孩子重听写的方法,然而由于家长们个别水平的确有限,听写情况离理想状态还是感觉有千里之遥。

在不断思考与探索中,我一直希望能有什么好方法让学生积极主动地去背单词。

有一次在教学月份以及序数词时,单词又多又难记,我很担心学生不愿去记这些单词,为了减轻学生的负担,我想利用课堂上的时间让他们先掌握一些。

于是我在教读了几遍之后笑着对学生说,“同学们,老师想看看我们班谁的记忆力好,下面给大家2分钟时间,看看你能背出几个单词?”学生一听都热烈地背诵开了。

3分钟很快过去了,首先,我叫了一位成绩中等的学生,我问:“你觉得你能背出几个?”“4个。

”他想了一会答道。

我说:“好,那试试看。

”一试,他背出了6个。

“哇,你太棒了!”我高兴的夸奖他。

接着我又叫了4位成绩稍差的学生来试背,结果他们实际能背出的单词数都比他们自己想象的好。

于是我趁热打铁,对孩子们说道:“同学们,从今天这几位同学背单词的情况来看,我们都小看了自己,高估了背英语单词的难度。

大家看到了,我们每个人实际上都比自己想象中的要好,我们要不断挖掘自己的潜力,相信自己。

当然最重要的是要敢于尝试,通过尝试,你会发觉原来自己也很棒!当然,学习是件辛苦的事情,背单词也如此。

但是只要我们“走一步,再走一步”,当一个个的小困难都克服了的时候,当敢于尝试成为习惯的时候,你就会发现其乐无穷。

”那堂课以后,我发觉这个班背单词的积极性提高了。

当然学习容易出现反复,所以要经常因人因势来调整策略,比如,有时我会和他们一起比赛记单词,有时还会故意输给他们呢!我们的邓爷爷说过这样一句话“白猫,黑猫,抓住老鼠就是好猫!”。

我想,老师们平时的教学方法和策略,只要能帮助学生克服小困难、树立自信心,并使他们在学习方法上得到正确的引领,都是值得去尝试的。

多鼓励孩子,多想点子哄着他们学,没有什么事情做不到,只要我们肯用心。

呵呵,这句话送给孩子们,也送给作为教师的自己。

第三篇:英语教学故事英语教学故事对于初中生来说,英语已经不仅仅是掌握一些单词而已,他们被要求掌握更深层次的内容。

一堂课下来,既没有高潮也没有低谷,枯燥无味,老师和学生都累得够呛,实际效用无从得知。

新课标要求:英语教学要注重交际,突出语篇,利用语境使学生更好地开展语言实践活动,培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力。

使语境充满生命,真正达到学以致用的目的。

那么怎样才能改变以前的语法教学模式顺应新课标要求,上好语法课,让学生在轻松的氛围里把语法学好呢?中国学生没有像以英语为母语的学习者那样习得英语的环境,他们不可能在平时、在课外获得充分足够的英语语言刺激并内化其语言规则,很难靠单纯模仿去自然习得英语。

因此,设计真实的语法情境,让学生在运用、交际的交互式中学习语法,可促进学生听、说、读、写综合语言运用能力的发展。

利用真实的环境或设计模拟的情境进行语法教学,使语法教学更趋形象化、直观化、真实化和趣味化。

情景活动中的学习降低了语法学习的难度,激发了学生学习英语的积极性,可以避免学习语法的枯燥性,使他们学得快,记得牢,用得活。

教授语法的时候,给学生创设学习语法的语境,让学生在一定的语境中去自然习得语法,尽可能找些学生感兴趣的视频,音频,这样学生学起来既轻松又能使用。

例如,我们可以用一些总统的演讲视频,尤其是奥巴马的,特别有说服力,有教育意义,而且语法运用也很好。

我们也可以下载一些学生感兴趣的人物的视频。

以适合学生特点的形式多样的教学方法来对待每个学生,才能使学生的身心自由地发展,创造性的成长。

把某些语法教学转化为交际活动,具体设计有:1)利用教授英文歌曲来教语法学生一般对英文歌曲都很感兴趣,下载一些通俗易懂的英文歌曲,通过填补英文歌中的missing words,使教学内容生动形象,利用歌曲优美的画面和动听的旋律,消除学生的紧张情绪,创造意境让学生在比较放松的状态下参与学习活动不仅调动学生的学习兴趣,而且营造良好的课堂氛围。

2)进行游戏式教学。

根据教学内容设计各种不同形式的游戏,这在外教教学中也经常采用。

在这样的操练活动中,学生既锻炼了思维能力与快速反应能力,又加深了对所学语法现象的理解,同时使语法教学既轻松又有效。

这种游戏竞争激趣的教学方式只所以深得师生的厚爱,因为它既能为英语学习创造逼真的、富于交际性的语言环境,又能为学习提供引人入胜的练习形式,从而有效的激发学生的学习热情,提高教学效果。

在教学中老师要善于引导学生用脑子想,用看,用耳朵听,用嘴说,用手操作,用自己的亲身经历、用自己的心灵去感悟,享受学习的乐趣,从而使课堂焕发无限的生命力。

3)表演、对话式教学设计一些使学生感兴趣的、与学生生活密切相关的表演和情景对话,激发学生学习的兴趣,增强学生对英语语言信息的使用和接受能力,这样也可以扩大他们对知识的输出。

4)视听法利用学生感兴趣的图片与影像呈现语言情景或话题,引导学生运用目标语言结构进行表达和交际。

在教学过程中,教师可以根据学生的实际情况,将他们分成若干个小组,让他们在学习的时候互相竞争,教师通过自己的表情、语言、体态等给学生尽可能多的鼓励和赞扬,使学生在愉悦的课堂氛围中发展创新,培养学生的自学能力和习惯,减少教学的强制性,养贯穿起来,让学习富有趣味性,具有吸引力,从而使学生从中体验学习的愉快,促使学生主动去运用,使学生的个性化学习异彩纷呈。

学生是课堂学习的主体,是知识的发现者和使用者,而不是被动的接受者;教师应充当引导者和协助者的角色,帮助学生一步步完成学习的任务。

语法教学也应重视发展性评价,对于学生在学习过程中的表现应及时给予肯定,这样才能真正实现评价的目的总而言之面对新的教材和新课程标准我们要“优化”英语语法教学而不是采用传统的死抠语法进行满堂灌的语法教学模式。

与学习英语其他方面的知识和技能一样语法学习也没有统一的学习方法。

教师应该让学生在借鉴他人学习方法的基础上探索最符合自己学习目的和学习习惯的学习方法与策略。
