1."You bet." You can bet money on that."

Is this is the way to High Tower Museum?"

You bet your ass I'm going to fire you."

There you go.

"There you go."

或"That's it."

Well, I just came by to give you my report, so, there you go!"

A: Wow, you fixed my computer in less than minutes. You’re good.
B: Yep. I just kick ass.

当「踢屁股」时,比如某人放你鸽子,你很气,就可以说: “I’m going to kick his ass.”

Hahaha (I)
kicked your ass.”。

A: Mary, I’m sorry for cheating on you before. Do you see any chance that we can get back together?
B: I don’t know, but you can kiss my ass.

Hey, man. XYZ.

“XYZ” 是“Check your zipper.”

Y 是 Your, Z 就是 Zipper 啰!
. Hit the road.

A: Do you want to come in for some tea?
B: No. I’m running late. I really need to hit the road.

“Hit the road” 的“hit” 有「去」的意思。

好比某人每周去健身房三次,你就可以说“He hits the gym three times a week.”。

“I really need to hit the road.” I re ally need to get going.”。

A: I don’t know what is going on lately. Jack seems to curse a lot these days.

B: Well, that’s just what you get from hanging out with the wrong crowd.

A: Guess wh at? We’ve just now missed the bus, and the next one won’t come for another minutes.

A: 抱歉!

B: I thought you just woke up. Sleepy head.

”I have to catch some Zs.” I have to take a nap.” 或“I need to snooze.”。

. take a dump 上大号
A: Would you mind closing the door? I’m trying to take a dump here.

B: No problem.

如: “Why are you so cranky today? Something happened?”
. Shoot!
A: I’ve got a question for you.

B: What?
B: 什么!
A: Got you!
“Get you” 是「骗、吓、捉弄…

Haha.. You didn’t get me.”。

A: How do you use this program? It looks quite complicated.

B: No. Looks can be deceiving. This thing is actually a no-brainer. Let me show you.

“Looks can be deceiving.”

Looks can be deceiving. He may be just a paper tiger.”
