一、教材分析：
本单元是4B Module 1 Unit 2 How does it feel, 触觉是感受事物、认识事物的重要途径之一。单元核心内容是借助触摸，能用hard,soft,rough,smooth,sharp,blunt,thick,thin合理描述对某一事物的直接感受。并运用句型Whose... is this/that/are these/those? It’s/They are...明晰物品的所有者。本课时根据教材语言活动板块的内容进行了“盲人摸象”故事的再构。
二、学情分析：
本课执教于四（2）班，班级中大多数学生有端正的学习态度，较好的英语基础和浓厚的英语学习兴趣。希望通过本课时有趣的故事阅读，配合AiClass信息技术使学生掌握本课时主要教学目标，并能在具体语境中运用。
三、单元教学目标和学习策略
知识与技能
1. 能掌握单元核心词汇hard,soft,rough,smooth,sharp,blunt,thick,thin的音、形、义。
2. 能掌握名词所有格表述，如：Danny’s, Miss Fang’s等。
3. 能以核心句型：Whose... is this/that/are these/those? It’s/They are...进行询问和回答，注意询问的物品数量的不同以及位置的远近。
4. 能借助视频及文本听懂、看懂、模仿朗读The blind brothers and the elephant故事，语音语调准确，并能分角色表演故事。
5. 能朗读Listen and enjoy的儿歌。
6. 能掌握字母组ur ir au oor的发音规律，并正确朗读含有该字母组的单词和儿歌。

本节内容选自沪版英语教材四年级（下），本单元主要内容围绕“A friend in
Australia”展开，利用两个朋友之间的对话来学习一年的12个月份并应于生活当中，这节课的词汇量比较大，单词也比较长，需要同学们注意发音，还要学会如何询问天气如何的英语表达。需掌握的句型有：
How is the weather in December?
It’s sunny and hot.
学会灵活运用询问天气的表达方式。
人物、活动众多，教师应分层设计活动帮助学生理解，掌握课文内容。首先，从视听入手，让学生整体感知课文内容。然后指导学生阅读，通过问答的形式加强学生的口语练习。于都后阶段是真实运用语篇的重要环节。通过同学间的对话表演来训练他们的口语表达能力。通过对后面的小故事使学生将所学的语言得到有效延伸。
根据课程标准对本节课的要求，针对小学生的心理特点和认知水平，结合教材，本着面向全体学生，基于学全面发展的原则，确定本节课的教学目标。

从学生年龄特点和认知特点，以及对英语学习的情感表现来看，本单元的教学对象是小学四年级的学生，他们学习英语的热情虽然没有低年级学生那么高、兴趣也没那么浓，但他们喜新好奇，求知欲强，富有想象力，并且具有较高的表现欲，且经过三年的英语学习，他们已有一定的词汇和语言基础。而且他们也有比较强的竞争意识，尤其是我所教的班级，更是喜欢小组竞赛和个人竞赛以及各种表演，更喜欢通过活动游戏等形式学习新知。
