一、教材分析：
本课是牛津英语8A Unit 7 Seasons的第一课时，是一节热身课。本单元的主要话题是季节。通过本节课的学习，学生能够了解有关季节及天气的英文表达以及不同季节的天气变化，对季节、天气有一个整体的认知，具备基本的季节天气常识。除此以外，能正确地描写天气变化的词汇和句型，并表达自己所喜爱的季节。
谈论最喜欢的季节。
二、教学目标：
1. 知识目标：To grasp the new words and expressions --bet, foggy, rainy, snowy, with nothing on,
it’s the best time to do sth.
2. 技能目标：To know some expressions about different weather.
To learn to talk about your favourite seasons .
3. 情感目标：To love the nature and the life by learning the four seasons.
三、教学方法分析：

Step one Presentation
1．Talk to Ss about the context of surviving an earthquake. Elicit any information about the
earthquakes in Taiwan or in other parts of the world．Bring some newspaper articles about
earthquakes.
2．Ask Ss to quickly skim the text on their own. Ask them to highlight the words they do not
know. Then ask Ss to discuss them in pairs and try to work out their meaning from the context.
