首先,谈一谈开发信的写作。
1).开发信邮件主题首先您先得了解客户来自哪个国家,查看方式:1.客户网站-About Us;2.Google客户的公司,地址,邮件,电话(1是美国的,44是英国的,45是丹麦的....),名字等等一切有用信息;3.邮箱尾缀,例如:**********明显是加拿大的。
Re的用很大(一定要用起来),这招可以迷糊客户:你到底是不是之前和我联系过呢?每个人都有好奇心,看到自己的回复有很大的敏感度。

3)开发信内容事先要编辑好邮件模板,复制,黏贴,要带上客户网站上的图片,如果有的话(产品必须是客户有卖的,贵司能提供的。
内容要简洁,不要废话。
开发信最忌讳的几个错误1)邮件写得过长。
客户每天有许多事要处理,面对邮箱几百封相似的邮件,而那些个又臭又长的陌生邮件,说不定还有许多个关于公司介绍的附件,怕是他没看就直接删除了吧。
换个角度想想你自己会不会看呢?况且老外往往时间观念强烈。
我了解到客户一般都会预留几块固定时间来处理邮件,长的,陌生的,很多时候都不会看。
除非你的邮件非常吸引人。
一些西欧客户,处理邮件的时间一般是2-3秒。
大致上就是随眼一看,找到几个关键词,有意思的就看下去,不重要的,会在outlook里标注上要处理的具体时间,然后从inbox拉到相应的子目录里。

写给客户的第一封信很重要,外贸上称之为开发信。
开发信习惯的格式,首先是说明获得客户联系方式的途径,以免唐突,比如“有幸在广交会上得到您的名片”、“经同行介绍”、“在某某网站上看到您的求购信息”等等。
接下来,简要介绍一下自己的情况,包括公司规模、成立时间(国际贸易商青睐成立时间较久的企业,觉得信用度较高)、产品----特别是主打产品的简介、对双方合作的诚意以及联系方式等。
需要注意的是,开发信应言之有物,凸显公司与产品的优势,提高吸引力。
但也不宜太过详细,长篇大论。
须知开发信不是作文比赛,其目的是引起客户的注意和兴趣,引诱客户回复联系。
因此,有收有放,有所保留,“欲知情况如何请联系详谈”才是上着。
