本套教材是上海教育出版社牛津英语（三年级起点）四年级上册英语Module4Unit10
Around my home第三课时。通过前两次课的学习，学生学会如何运用There be 句型来描述某处有某物。第三课时则是对There be 句型的综合实际练习。通过一条北京著名王府井大街，来介绍王府井大街上有的事物，北京著名商店、饭店里有的事物。在对王府井街道的描述后，学生们试着当一名小导游员来介绍身边的著名街道：沈阳的太原街。通过上述两方面的介绍描述，进而完成一篇介绍自己街道的小短文。
学情分析
本教材授课对象是四年级的学生，经过三年多的英语学习，他们已经对英语有了一定程度的掌握。不在单单局限于对单个词、句、短语的练习，而是可以简单的综合运用所学知识完成简单的语句操练，进而通过语句的叠加完成小篇幅的英文短文。
这一学龄段的学生，已经不能简单的通过图片、实物来激发学习兴趣。他们接受能力很强，对科普、人文介绍的英文视频更感兴趣，所以根据学生们的这一特点，可以适当的使用视频，动漫图画等形式，激发学生兴趣。一切从兴趣出发，在听、说、读、写上全面适应该年龄段学生的智力发展水平的特点来进行教学。
