一、教材分析：
本单元是整个初中英语课本中的最后一个单元，通过回忆过去，畅想未来这一主题展开各种教学活动。本单元旨在创造一个轻松，愉快的学习、交流环境，通过听，说，读，写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并通过有限的课堂实践活动，拓展以往的经历，能准确地用英语来表达。
二、新竹高于旧竹枝，全凭老干为扶持。出自郑燮的《新竹》
◆教学目标：
1语言目标：掌握本课重点词汇及语言点：text, level, degree, manager, gentleman, task,
wing, double, shall, overcome, caring, senior, ours, look back at, make a mess,
keep one’s cool, senior high, go by
2 技能目标：能谈论过去和未来的生活.
3 情感目标：珍惜初中生活的点滴，培养对高中、未来生活的憧憬。树立远大人生目标。
三、学习策略：
主要以情感教育为主线， 激发学生的学习动力，激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情，使他们自己想学习。在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿，敢于开口，积极参与，主动学习。
四、教学的重、难点：
基于上述对教材的分析，我确定本单元的教学重点为词汇，词组搭配。 教学难点为过去时态的用法，能在交际中准确地运用现在完成时及一般过去时来描述或表达过去的经历。
五、教学过程设计
