教师用PPT快速呈现与学科相关的图片，如英语、数学、历史等，让学生抢答说出图片中指代的是什么学科，并让学生试着造句。
设计意图：通过复习与学科相关的内容自然引出本课时的话题，为接下来的学习做好铺垫。
环节2 新课学习
1．教师让学生快速阅读教材第34页的对话，阅读后邀请一名学生说出该对话谈论的主题。
2．教师邀请两名学生分角色朗读对话内容，教师注意纠正学生的发音。
3．教师让学生听对话，并提醒学生注意听其中的学科名词，完成活动1的练习，然后教师核对答案。
4．教师让学生浏览活动2中的五个问题，然后精读对话，完成练习，同时标记出对话中的重要词汇和句型。教师抽几名学生分享答案，教师点评并核对答案。
5．教师对学生标记出的重要知识点和其他重难点进行讲解(教师可邀请学生试着翻译一些句式较为复杂的句子)。
6．教师让学生浏览活动3方框中的单词和短语，理解其大意，然后完成填空练习。教师邀请几名学生分别说说自己的答案，最后全班一起核对答案。
7．结对练习。教师让学生写出自己的课程表，然后两人一组根据活动4的示例编对话。最后教师请几组学生分享他们的对话，教师及时点评。
8．要点点拨。
(1)How is your school life going?
①How is...going？意为“……怎么样？……如何？……还好吗？”，相当于“How is/are...？”如：How is everything going
recently？＝How is everything recently？最近一切都还好吗？
②life在句中作不可数名词，意为“生活”。它还可作可数名词，意为“生命，一生”，其复数形式是lives。
(2)Well，I am a little busy this term.
①a little意为“一点”，常用于修饰形容词或副词，它也可修饰不可数名词。如：He feels a little thirsty.他感觉有点儿渴。
②busy作形容词，意为“忙的；繁忙的；热闹的；(电话)占线的”。常用短语：be busy with sth.忙于某事；be busy doing
sth.忙于做某事。如：I was busy with my children.我忙于照顾孩子。He is busy doing his homework.他正忙着做家庭作业。

一、概述
本单元以“交通工具”为中心话题，围绕谈论“How do you get to school?”而展开教学及运用How long/How far 询问去某地的时间和距离，而Section A
(1a-1主要是学习交通工具的单词和运用how引导的特殊疑问句，询问到达目的地的，这一话题贴近学生们的日常生活，它继第三单元谈论“假日计划”后安排这样一个话题，符合学生的认知结构和年龄特征，它将为本单元后面的课时做好铺垫，也为学生口语交际打下基础。
本课是本单元的第一课时。本单元认识掌握交通工具，然后学习短语take
the subway, take the train, ride a bike, walk等，最后学习句型How do you get to

二、学习者特征分析 冀教版 七年级下册 2 / 8 1、七年级学生的心理特征和认知发展水平：七年级学生喜欢直观、形象的教学活动，他们有较高的求知、表现欲，对课余活动的话题感兴趣，他们注意力集中时间短，但已具备一定的语言沉淀，形成一定的学习策略。因此，我设计的课堂活动更多的考虑了学生在已有知识体系上的建构和语言生成，让人人都能参与，增强他们学习英语的积极性和自信心。
2、七年级学生的英语语言知识和技能水平:他们通过小学和初中第一学期的学习，已经积累了一定的词汇量，能用英语表达一些课余活动的词汇，能使用简单的语言表达自己的想法，他们已经拥有简单听说读写能力。本节课生词不多，短语贴近生活，易于记忆，因此学生在词汇学习过程中没有太大困难，主要难点是be going to的用法。
