专四2023年作文真题及范文(通用5篇)For those who first live in a big city, they are confronted with multiple unexpected challenges, which, to some extent, may make or break them. So it is essential to be aware of the challenges. There are two major challenges for them. For one thing, the fast pace of social and professional life would be a hard bone to chew. It would become a struggle and terrible experience, if they cannot get used to the pace of life and work in big cities. For another, how to build a social network in big cities would be also a difficulty for those who want to start a new life in big cities. Without a social network, they would not have the sense of belonging. All in all, from what has been discussed above, the two major challenges are common for people struggling in big cities. The awareness of the potential problems and proper adjustment is necessary for all people going to big cities.Punctuality Is an Important VirtueTo be or not to be punctual is a habit. As a result, a couple of wild animals were killed or driven out of their original habitat. Tribal people who are in a peaceful life gradually lose their own lands. Survival’s Director Stephen Cory putforward his point of view about what conservationist should do. I agree with him.First, tribal people’s rights have to be acknowledged and respected. The conservationists must make it clear that they come to protect the environment rather than destroy it. They are supposed to respect tribal people, including their original habitat, culture and their lifestyles. As a matter of fact, they are not leaders but conservationists.Second, conservationists have to be treated as the best exports at defending their own people is an important part of the nature, and they know a lot about nature. Conservationists must realize it is they who are junior partners. To sum up,only in this way can the situation of conservationists be improved.Should College Students Hire Cleaners? It was recently reported that a few college students hired a help to do some cleaning in their dorm. These students attribute this behavior to their limited spare time. They claim that it can help them to save time and pay more attention to their studies. As far as I am concerned, such a chain of reasoning is seriously flawed, and they are just making an excuse for their laziness. College students should not hire a help for their dormitory cleaning. To begin with, it is not necessary for college students to hire acleaner. As boarding-school students living in tiny dorms, we don’t have much cleaning to do at all. What we need to do every day is just washing or some basic cleaning, which we learned to do in childhood. Undoubtedly we can manage them ourselves. In addition, cleaning up a dorm won’t take much time. Conversely, it may help us to divert our attention away from studies and reduce our pressure. As a result, we don’t need to hire a cleaner to keep our dorms clean.A more important reason why university students should not hire a cleaner is that university education involves both knowledge learning and character building. In the university we should try our best to be more independent and self-reliant. Otherwise, we cannot shoulder greater responsibility when we step into the society. If now we still rely on cleaners for dorm sanitation, how can we earn our own living in the future? Consequently, the most basic thing we should do now is to take care of ourselves and prepare for our future, instead of evading responsibility by hiring a help.In summary, college students should learn to stand on their own feet. Hiring a cleaner is definitely not a wise choice.。

2023年英语专业四级考试真题作文〔通用11篇〕2023年英语专业四级考试真题作文〔通用11篇〕英语专业四级考试真题答案之写作篇篇1With Intelligent Machines to Do the Thinking, Will Our Brains Get Lazy?In my opinion, artificial intelligence will enable our brains to get more creative. Admittedly, a lot of work has been done by intelligent machines. It seems that the function of people has been weakened and people’s brains have been replaced. As a matter of fact, thanks to intelligent machines, people can expand their creative energy and add new varieties. Simply speaking, when people are free from tedious, repetitive, sometimes even dangerous work, work efficiency will undoubtedly be improved. As a result, people can spare more time to do what they want and pursue what they dream of, which is the premise of creativity. Moreover, creativity stems primarily fromknowledge and thinking. Once people have the opportunity to do more thinking and learning, their intelligence would be enhanced rather than weakened.Although artificial intelligence is the exhibition of people’s high degree of creative power, it should be noted that it is like a double-edged sword. The sensible choice is to embrace its advantages and cope with the problems it has aroused. This is what an advanced and rational society should be like.英语专业四级考试真题答案之写作篇篇2In recent years, with the increasingly fierce petition, more and more people are bearing great pressure from study, work and life. 英语专业四级写作考试篇1In recent years, many classics, especially the Four Great Classical Novels, have been adapted in improper ways. For examples, in a TV series adapted from Journey to the West, Monkey King ridiculously falls in love with an evil spirit. It has gone too far from the original version in which the upright Monkey shows no mercy to ant evil spirit.Various reasons account for this phenomenon. Firstly, readers' or audiences' preference plays a critical role. In this market economy, where there is demand, there is supply. So many playwriters or directors cater for these people's need. Secondly, some producers want to attract people and make profit. To curb this phenomenon, I think two measures should be taken. First, it's necessary to change the way people treat classics. An adapted version that goes too far from the original one is not merely disrespect to the author, but also misleads the readers or the audiences. Second, the concerned authority should check and ban TV series, videos or books that spoofclassics.英语专业四级写作考试篇2Recently a blind date including 20 young men and women has been held by an organization. Some people see it as a good way to meet different people while others argue that it’s not possible to find one’s partner between two people who havenot previously met. As far as I’m concerned, blind dat ing is worth trying and you can find your true love there!First of all, nowadays many young people are always busying with their work; therefore they have little spare time to meet with their future partner, leading to more and more leftover women and men. According to a study, a happy life includes work and family balance, which means a harmonious family including the couple (and the baby in the future) may contribute to a comparably happy life. What’s more, during a blind date, usually the basic informat ion is given to both parts; therefore it’s more reliable to know a person’s family background, his or her job, religion etc. As is known to all, a couple should have the same belief in value, wealth, thus preventing many potential conflicts.Last but not least, through blind dates, one can meet people with different personalities, thus having a clearer idea about which kind of person is suitable for being a lifelong mate. And blind dates are also great chances to make friends in the same age group. To sum u p, blind dating can be a good way to find one’s future husband or wife. It’s feasible and reliable. Hope that everyone can find true love in blind dates!英语专业四级写作考试篇3Punctuality Is an Important VirtueTo be or not to be punctual is a habit. Adult education is on the rise. I personally hold that adult education is highly advisable and completely achievable3 and therefore is highly important.Firstly, adults starting a new or returning to school most often have found within themselves a strengthened desire to succeed. Studies have shown that 80% of adult students graduate as compared to a 50% average graduation rate among traditionalstudents. Furthermore, adults have a bank of knowledge from life or work experience that can contribute to what they will learn in school. This is a fantastic advantage over their younger peers. Adults also view their professors as peers and are less intimidated by them, Last but not least, higher education for the adult is a life-changing experience. Most often, adults go to school to further their education in hopes of salary increases, chances for promotion, or they go to school for change, hoping to enter into a better field or pursue a field that they have a deep-rooted passion for.In conclusion, the importance of having adult education overshadows the difficulties in pursuing your degree later in life. Given that most colleges and universities have tailored their programs to fit adult student's needs and schedules, going back to school for adult education is feasible and highly advisable. And in their eyes, study overseas is better in the domestic school. So, there are plenty of people send their kids to study abroad in a young age. They think they are doing good things for their baby. But I don’t agree with them. Going to study abroad at young age is not good for young kids.如今,随着经济的发展,越来越多的人有能力为自己的孩子提供更好的教育。

You should write at least 150 words and base your composition on the outline given in Chinese below:1. 阅读在英语学习中的作用2. 如何利用阅读提高英语水平3. 你的看法Sample Answers:Part I:The Differences between Studying English in China and Studying English in an English-Speaking CountryStudying English in China and studying English in an English-speaking country are two completely different experiences. In China, the focus of English education tends to be on grammar rules, vocabulary memorization, and test preparation. Students spend a lot of time learning the language in a classroom setting, which can be effective for improving their reading and writing skills. However, they often lack the opportunity to practice speaking and listening in real-life situations. On the other hand, studying English in an English-speaking country provides students with immersion in the language and culture. They have the chance to interact with native speakers on a daily basis, which helps them improve their speaking and listening skills dramatically. They also have access to authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, and movies, which can enhance their reading and listening abilities.Personally, I believe that studying English in anEnglish-speaking country is more effective in terms of language acquisition. However, studying English in China can also be beneficial if students make an effort to practice speaking and listening outside of the classroom.Part II:The Importance of Reading in English LearningReading plays a crucial role in English learning as it helps students improve their vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills. By reading extensively, students are exposed to a wide range of words and sentence structures, which can help them express themselves more clearly and fluently. Additionally, reading provides insight into the culture and customs of English-speaking countries, which is essential for effective communication. To utilize reading to improve their English proficiency, students should read a variety of materials such as newspapers, novels, and academic articles. They should also make a habit of looking up unfamiliar words and phrases to expand their vocabulary. Furthermore, students can practice reading aloud to improve their pronunciation and intonation. In my opinion, reading is a vital component of English learning that should not be overlooked. It not only enhances language skills but also broadens the mind and enriches one's understanding of the world.Overall, by recognizing the differences between studying English in China and studying English in an English-speaking country, as well as the importance of reading in English learning, students can effectively improve their English proficiency and communication skills.。

专业四级考前恶补—写作(3)
【写作范文】
Some people like to buy books to read. Others like to borrow books from libraries or from other people. Compare the advantages of these two ways of reading. Which do you prefer? Why?
Write a composition of about 150 words on the following topic:Borrowing Books or Buying Books
Some people like to borrow books to read, while others prefer to buy books. Both ways have their advantages.
Borrowing books to read has two major advantages. First, you just urge yourself to finish as soon as possible the books you borrowed from a library or from other people. You will be fined if you fail to return them to the library in due t ime, or you will lose trust if you keep books of others too long, and they will probably refuse to lend you any more books. So you have to read it desirously, forgetting your meals and sleep. On the other hand, if you buy a book, you may put it away, thinking it is yours and you don‘t have to finish it quickly. Another advantage of borrowing books enables you to read books without spending any money. In recent years, more and more books come out each year, and the prices of books keep on rising. Ordinary people cannot afford to buy so many books they want to read either for information or entertainment. In addition, often I need to read only a part of some books. It is unnecessary for me to buy them.
However, there are some kinds of books that I have to buy. The first kind is reference books such as dictionaries and encyclopedias I need to use frequently. The second kind is textbooks I need to read more carefully in order to understand well. And it is also necessary for me to buy some famous literature books like The Complete Short Stories of Mark Twain, The Old Man and the Sea, Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
So I think books are of two kinds: books for borrowing and books for buying. I like to borrow books that I read mainly for entertainment or read a part of. And for those books like reference books, I prefer to buy. Whether to borrow or to buy books, I think, mostly depends on the kinds.
All roads lead to Rome.
条条大路通罗马。

in due time. 你如果到期不还书就会被罚款。

② reference books 参考书,工具书

Call a spade a spade.

【要点提示】
All that speak us fair are not friends.
说我们好话的人并非都是朋友。

Fiction Can Teach Us More
Fiction, such as novels and short stories, is always considered as a way of entertainment, but as far as I am concerned, I think it is far more than a pure relaxation. It can be instructive, and it can even teach us more about life than textbooks.
Authors of famous works are usually well experienced. They put all their knowledge and social experience into their literary works. They create a colorful world in which we can find great quantity of treasure.
Since fiction is primarily based on everyday life, the knowledge it includes is always close.
