⼤⼆下学期英语⼝语考试内容⼝语考试题⽬Parents Differ from Children in Their Career ChoiceThe question of who should be responsible for planning their career often causes problems for many children. Parents think that they know their children well enough to decide what kind of job suits them. They are afraid that their children are too young to decide their future on their own. However, many children would argue that they should be left free to make their own choices. This is a typical phenomenon especailly in China. Children rely on their parents when they want allowances, but for more important issues they try to be independent. The other aspect of career choice is that parents and their children are often different in their opinions of the ideal profession. Parents would prefer children to choose some professions that are stable and could bring prestige and economic benefits. But some children would rather choose professions that are challenging and require independent and creative thinking. The Hazards of Movie-goingAlthough I love movies, I’ve found that there are drawbacks to movie-going. One problem is just the inconvenience of it all. It can take me long time to drive to the theater and find a parking spot. When you got stuck in traffic jam during a rush hour, you may even miss the beginning of a movie. Another problem is my lack of self-control at thetheater. I often stuff myself with unhealthy calorie-laden snacks for the limited choices. If you I want to go to the restroom, I can’t pause the movie just as what I do to fetch a cup of tea when I watch TV at home. Though the stereo sound effects are much better, there is a worst problem, which is with some of the other movie-goers. Kids run up and down the aisle. It’s noisy and messy in the theater. All in all, I would rather stay home and watch TV comfortably.different forms of exercises to suit different tastesThere are many different forms of exercises to suit different tastes. For example, those who enjoy competitive sports may take up ball games, such as football, basketball. They can run and push each other on the fields or playgrounds. For these games you have to be very energetic. For another example, if they prefer to exercise alone, they can have a run or take a walk in the morning or in the evening. Also they can take Yoga, Taichi or other body training exercise. And if some likes to play Go games, he can always play on computer or mobile phone agianst the virtual player. It is also a kind of exercise of your brain. Besides, people can go swimming in the summer and go skating in the winter. In short, no matter what their interests are, people can always find more than one sports that are suitable to them.Tv, a blessing or a curseNowadays television plays such an important role in people’s life that watching TV has become part of people’s life in many families. Is TV a blessing or a curse? Obviously, television, like anything else, has more than one faces. As is known to us, television presents a vivid and colorful world for people. Through TV, people can learn what is happening across the world and are better informed of the latest development in science and technology. TV broadens people’s scope of knowledge. In this sense, TV is a blessing. However, television can also be harmful. The rays sent out from TV screen are harmful to people. Furthermore, attached by their favorite programs, many people tend to watch TV too often or for a long time. And as a result, their studies, and work may be neglected. Especially, if children stay up too late at night watching TV, they will feel sleepy in class the next day, and thus they will fall behind in their studies. We Shouldn't Totally Turn to the Internet Nowadays, Internet has become an indispensable part in our life, and we use it for various purposes, such as searching useful information and chatting online. However, now more and more people turn to the Internet for help whenever they have trouble in finding solutions to their problems, and this phenomenon has aroused the public's attention.Relying on the Internet to solve all our difficulties can have bad impacts on us. On one hand, since we can always settle the troubles by searching solutions online, we can become very lazy and don't bother to think up answers by ourselves, which can hinder the development of creative thinking. On the other hand, the answers online may be inaccurate or wrong. If we use them without thinking the credibility of them, we may make serious mistakes someday. As far as I'm concerned, we shouldn't completely depend on the Internet to settle problems. When we come across some difficulties, we’d better try our best to find possible solutions. If we make great efforts and still can't come up with an answer, then we can surf online to search solutions. But we should question the correctness of these answers before we adopt them.⼝语考试在5⽉23⽇⾄27⽇进⾏。
