He made mistakes like being too controlling at times and could be pretty harsh and mean to people. Like all of us, he had flaws. But his vision, creativity, and relentless passion to make a dent in the universe is what made him and Apple so incredibly influential and inspiring.Maybe you're wondering why I care so much about some tech company and its former CEO? Well, the lessons I've learned from Steve Jobs and Apple about following your curiosity, thinking differently, and striving for excellence aren't just about making gadgets. Today I want to tell you about my favorite company, Apple, and the guy who started it and made it so awesome, Steve Jobs.Apple makes some of the coolest tech products ever! I have an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook that my parents got me for doing well in school. All my friends are super jealous of my Apple gadgets. They're just so much better than anything else out there.But Apple wasn't always the biggest and best tech company. It actually started in a garage! Can you believe that? Steve Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak built the first Apple computer in Jobs' parent's garage back in 1976. It was called the Apple I. Justa couple of guys tinkering away and creating something amazing!After some success with the Apple I and later the Apple II, Jobs had a brilliant idea in 1984 - the Macintosh computer with a graphical user interface. That means it had windows and icons you could click on instead of just text on the screen. It made computers way easier to use for normal people like you and me. Up until then, computers were really hard with all those confusing commands.The first Mac was truly revolutionary and groundbreaking. But not everyone thought it was a great idea at first. A lot of businessmen made fun of Jobs and didn't think regular folks would ever want to use computers. Boy were they wrong! The Mac started a personal computer revolution that changed the entire world.Unfortunately, Jobs ended up getting fired from his own company in 1985 because of some business disagreements. I can't even imagine how sad and disappointing that must have felt. To create this incredible company from nothing, only to get kicked out by the people you hired. It would be like your parents firing you from your own family!Jobs didn't give up though. He started another company called NeXT that made super high-tech computers for universities and businesses. He also bought a company called Pixar that made the first-ever computer animated movies like Toy Story. Toy Story is still one of my favorite movies ever!Then in 1997, the most amazing thing happened. Apple's current products weren't doing so well, so they asked Steve Jobs to come back and be in charge again! He returned to his baby company that he founded from that little garage.As soon as Jobs was back at Apple, he started working his magic and turning the company around. He came up with so many groundbreaking new products that changed everything. Things like the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad.The iMac was this really cool desktop computer that looked like nothing else with its colorful curved shape. It helped make computers seem fun and not just for boring office work.Then the iPod came along in 2001 and totally revolutionized how we all listen to music. Instead of carrying around a bunch of CDs or tapes, you could have thousands of songs loaded right onto this tiny gadget and pick whatever you wanted to listen to. It had a circular scroll wheel that was so intuitive for navigatingyour music library. I remember thinking the iPod was the coolest thing in the world!But probably Jobs' biggest and most legendary creation was the iPhone in 2007. Before the iPhone, mobile phones were just kind of dumb. You could make calls, send texts, and play a couple of basic games. That's it. The iPhone changed the entire mobile industry forever by putting a powerful computer in your pocket with a touchscreen you could use apps and browse the internet on. It turned phones into portable multimedia devices that can do pretty much anything.I remember watching the keynote video where Steve Jobs first introduced the iPhone and thinking "I NEED to have one of those!" He showed it off on stage with such passion and excitement, like a little kid who couldn't wait to share his awesome new toy with the world. Jobs had a way of making people fall in love with new technology that didn't even exist yet.The last groundbreaking product Steve Jobs unveiled before he passed away from cancer in 2011 was the iPad. It took the iPhone's tech with the multi-touch screen and made it into a tablet computer. I use my iPad for everything - playing games, watching movies and shows, reading books, and doing my homework. It's replaced laptops and computers for a lot of basictasks. Just another game-changing product vision from Steve Jobs.Apple has continued releasing updated iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other products every year since Jobs passed away. But I don't think they've had a true revolutionary product like the ones Jobs created. At least not yet anyway.Steve Jobs was a true genius when it came to envisioning future technology and making it simple and easy to use. But he didn't just create great products. He also built Apple into one of the biggest companies on Earth by hiring brilliant people who shared his passion. Apple's marketing, software, hardware, stores - everything is just so much better designed and moredetail-oriented than other tech companies. They sweat all the little things because Steve Jobs always sweated the details.I'll never forget watching the speeches and keynotes where Jobs would share Apple's latest creations. He had this certain magic way of convincing everyone that the product he held in his hands was something we absolutely needed in our lives. His excitement and love for the technology was just infectious.Jobs also had an amazing rags-to-riches life story of starting out in a garage, getting fired from Apple, then returning to make it the most valuable tech company ever. It's like a real-life fairytale, except he created all this incredible stuff that changed the world for real!So that's why Apple and Steve Jobs will always be my favorite company and business leader.
