Unit 6 Toys教学设计课题:粤人2011课标版(三年级起点)四年级上册Unit 6 Toys (第三课时)一、学情分析本节课的教学对象是小学四年级的学生,他们正式学习英语已经一年多了,因此也能掌握较多的英语技能。
他们对于英语的听说读写有了一定的基础,因此,在教授新知识内容时,他们也比较容易接收,模仿能力强,好奇心也强。
四年级的孩子开始从被动学习主体向主动的学习主体转变,有较强的求知欲,好奇心也强。
但课堂上的注意力难以持久集中,特别是男孩子。
因此,在运用多媒体教学吸引学生,也需要多增加课堂乐趣,提高他们对于学习的兴趣,激发学生学习的热情,这样才能取得较好的教育效果。
二、教材分析本节课的教学内容是粤人2011课标版三年级起点四年级上册第六单元Toys-Story.本单元内容以八个关于玩具的单词a doll,a toy bear,a toy plane,a toy car,a computer game,a puzzle,a drum,a guitar以及使用句型What do you want ? I want ...和Do you want a ... ? Yea/No来询问他人想拥有什么玩具以及是否拥有某个玩具。
本课时即将展示的是第3课时,学生将学习在玩具店里如何以运用句型来提问或者作相应的回答;学习如何恰当地运用Yes,please./Do you want a toy?等一些交际用语。
由本课时的story 知识再拓展到日常生活中,如在水果店,在超市,如何运用已学知识进行交流,新知识是孩子们日常生活中经常用到的、熟悉的事物,能激发他们学习英语的兴趣。
三、整体设计思路本节课先介绍老师Shelly,今天是Shelly的生日,在玩具店里会举行一个生日派对,会有很多玩具和很多朋友,包括Gogo。
在派对举行之前,店里来了客人,开始展开Salesman在接待顾客时遇到的事情,通过描述过程练习对话,自然而然地展开了新内容,让学生更顺畅和愉悦地学习新知识。

1. Make the kids acquire toy words and use them in real life.

Step1.Warm-up
Bring in the toys labeled on this book, a shallow cardboard box and a thick pen.
(Books close.) Introduce the toys saying “This is a …” Write the names of the toys on the board.
Pick up the toys one by one and see if the pupils can tell me the name. Say “What’s this?” Help the pupils answer “It’s a …”
Step2. Presentation and Practice
Teach the pupils to toy box by putting the toys in the cardboard box. Write the word toys on the box with a thick pen. Ask and answer about the toys using two different voices. Get the pupils to take the correct toys out of the toy box I made in step 1.
(Books open.) Point to the toys and the toy box on the page, asking what they are. Encourage the pupils to answer.
Point to a toy. Ask the pupils to give their answers.
2. Look and do
Show the pupils two toys. Ask them to choose one and to look at the toy. Tell them to spell the word of the toy. Tell the pupils to work in pairs. Ask them to take turns to spell the words of the toys in the room they have chosen. Step3. Game
Let one pupil play the role of a salesgirl and the other act as a customer. Teach them the sentence patterns as the following:
What do you want?
I want……
Do you want……?
Yes, please./ No, thanks.
Make them act in front of the class using these sentences.
Then let several couples of Ss come to the front to give their performances.
They could change the situations to a restaurant, a toy shop, etc.
Step4. Sum-up
