本课是Module7第二单元，第一单元学习了Are there …?句型,谈论了班级学生的数量。
第二单元承接上一单元的内容继续谈论数量的话题，并运用“How many …are there? There are …”进行问答练习。
学习了整十的数字的英文表达。
学生分析三年级学生年龄特点决定了孩子们的好奇心强，对英语有着强烈的学习兴趣，听说读的习惯良好，三年级上学期刚刚接触到仿写，写的能力还不是很强。
还需要教师从听说读方面打好基础，从而引导写的能力的提升。
二、教学目标（一）语言知识学习句型How many apples are there in the box?并会运用所学句型谈论数量，理解并运用词汇：thirty，通过听读学生能够感知课文和韵句的语音语调。

二、教学重点和难点1.教学重点：学习使用“How many…are there?”和“there is/are…”描述物品数量。
2.教学难点：数字1-10的表达、听懂简单的对话。
三、教学内容本课时主要内容为描述物品数量的句型和数字表达。
Step 1：Warm-up以“Let’s count the apples”为主题，为学生们展示一堆苹果，并数一遍，然后让学生重复一遍。
Step 2：Presentation1.现场出示一个盒子，抓一两个学生问问，“How many apples do you see？”2.在黑板上画一个表格，第一列为数字1-10，第二列为对应的英文单词，第三列为对应的图形。
让学生认真观看，记住这些数字和单词。
3.通过在黑板上画一些盒子，向学生展示句型“How many apples are there in the box？”和“there is/are…”。
注意用手势向学生解释“I see one…”表示“I can see one…”。
4.让一两个学生站在前面，让他们问问题“how many”并回答，其它学生可以通过举手来回答。
Step 3：Practice进入练习环节，老师可以根据学生的实际情况来设计游戏，如：1.Mystery Box Game：老师为每一个盒子分别写上一个数字，然后让学生们依次猜测盒子里的水果数量。
