六年级英语教案【篇一:六年级英语教案】龙文教育个性化辅导教案教案内容:重点句型:a1.mrs wang and grandma are going to los angeles, the usa, this sunday to see aunt judy and uncle mike.

在现代英语中,常常用现在进行时is/ am/ are going to do 表示一般将来时。

又如:im leaving now .

some foreigners are visiting our school tomorrow.

2.aunt judy and uncle mike have lived in los angeles for six years.

如:for six days 六天 for a long time 很久i have studied english for five years.

3.mrs wang and grandma have not been to the usa before .

have been to 意为“去过;到过”。

如:i have been to paris.

比较:have been to 和 have gone tohave been to 表示“去过某地,现在已经返回了”。

1My Favorite SeasonMy favorite season of the year is summer! I love the warm weather, being out of school, and all the fun activities there are to do. Summer is simply the best time of year. One reason why I love summer so much is because of the warm weather. After being cooped up inside all winter, it feels so nice to be able to go outside without having to put on a heavy coat, hat, and gloves. I can wear light, comfortable clothes like t-shirts and shorts. The summer sun feels amazing on my skin and instantly puts me in a good mood. I love being able to play outside for hours without freezing. My friends and I take full advantage of the warmth by spending tons of time outdoors swimming, riding our bikes, and playing sports and games.Another great thing about summer is that I don't have to go to school! Don't get me wrong, I actually like school for the most part. But there's nothing better than having a long break from homework, tests, waking up early, and sitting in a classroom allday. In the summer, I can sleep in as late as I want and my days are completely free to do whatever activities I choose. No more being trapped inside taking notes and listening to lectures! Instead, I can spend my summer days however I please - swimming at the pool, going on vacation with my family, playing video games, or just relaxing at home. The freedom of summer is amazing. My favorite summer activities are going to the beach and pool parties. I live near the ocean, so my family and I go to the beach all the time in the summer. I love feeling the warm sand between my toes, splashing around in the cool water, and playing fun beach games. We'll spend entire days there, packing a picnic lunch, building sandcastles, and collecting seashells. Once the sun starts to go down, we roast marshmallows and make s'mores around a bonfire. Beach days are the best!I also really enjoy going to pool parties at my friends' houses. We'll spend hours swimming, playing pool games like chicken fight or marco polo, doing cannonballs off the diving board, and laying out in the sun. Someone's parents usually grills burgers and hot dogs, and we get to eat popsicles and other tasty snacks too. At night, we have sleepovers and watch movies, telling scarystories once it gets dark out. Pool parties are a classic summer tradition I look forward to every year.Of course, summer does have some downsides too. One thing I don't love about summer is how hot it can get. When it's really humid and in the 90s or above, it can feel unbearable just being outside for a few minutes. I hate feeling sweaty and gross all the time during summer heat waves. It's no fun having to blast the air conditioning nonstop or cool down by taking multiple cold showers a day. Another bummer about summer is that a lot of my friends go on vacation or get sent away to camp for a few weeks, so I can't see them as much. Getting a summer reading assignment from school is a drag too. But overall, the pros of summer definitely outweigh the cons.In my opinion, summer will always be superior to the other seasons. I cherish those few months of freedom, warmth, and nonstop fun in the sun. The often saying is that kids live for summer, and I am certainly one of those kids! Bring on the beach days, pool parties, sleeping in, and summer adventures with friends. Summers are something I look forward to all year long. In my young life so far, some of my absolute happiest and most carefree memories have taken place during those magical summer months. I'll always hold onto the simple joys of summer, even when I'm grown up. For now though, I plan to soak up every second of summer fun while I can! Summer, you are definitely my favorite.篇2Unit 2: My CommunityHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 6th grader. For our second unit in English class this year, we've been learning all about communities. It's been really interesting to explore the different places and people that make up where I live.To start off, we talked about the concept of a community itself. A community is a group of people living together in one place. They share things like resources, values, goals, and traditions. The people in a community rely on each other and work together for everyone's benefit. Some examples of communities are neighborhoods, towns, cities, and even countries!I live in a small town called Middleton. Even though it's not a huge city, Middleton definitely has its own little community. We have a downtown area with shops, restaurants, a library, and a park. There are several neighborhoods with houses and apartment buildings where families live. We also have a fewschools, some churches, a police and fire station, and a community center. All the different people and places work together to create our unique Middleton community.Speaking of people, we spent some time learning about different types of community members and helpers. There are so many important roles that keep a community running smoothly! For example, we have police officers who enforce laws and keep people safe. Firefighters put out fires and respond to emergencies. Doctors, nurses, and other medical staff take care of our health. Utility workers make sure we have electricity, water, internet and other services. Teachers like my own help kids get an education. And those are just a few - there are countless other roles like grocery workers, mail carriers, garbage/recycling collectors, construction crews, civic leaders and many more. It's incredible how many different people cooperate to support a community. We also discussed the importance of being an active, engaged community member yourself. It's not just about benefiting from the community, but giving back as well. There are lots of ways kids can get involved like volunteering, joining clubs or youth groups, or just being a good neighbor. Simple things like cleaning up litter, being kind and respectful to others, participating in community events, and looking out for those in need all make a positive impact. As the saying goes, it takes a village! One really fun part of this unit was learning about different cultures and traditions around the world. While all communities have some similarities, they can also be quite diverse in their customs, food, clothing, arts, music, and more. We read books and watched videos about community celebrations like Chinese New Year, Día de los Muertos in Mexico, Diwali in India, and more. Some classmates even shared about their own cultural traditions which I loved learning about. It reminded me thatwe're all part of a big global community too.My favorite activity was a group project where we had to design and build a model community using recycled materials. My team made buildings out of cardboard boxes, toilet paper rolls, bottles, and anything else we could find. We made roads out of aluminum foil, a park with bottle cap trees, and little popsicle stick people to be the community members. It was crazy creative and really reinforced everything we had learned about what a community needs. Like parks for recreation, a variety of businesses, residential areas, transportation, and most importantly - people! At the end of the unit, we had to write persuasive letters about an issue impacting our local community that we wanted to raise awareness about. I chose towrite about recycling and reducing plastic waste. Middleton doesn't have the best recycling program and I see so much litter around fromsingle-use plastics. In my letter, I urged our mayor and town council to improve our recycling system, put more recycling bins around town, and encourage businesses to cut back on plastics. I also pitched ideas for cleanupcampaigns that kids could get involved with. Mrs. Parker said I made a very convincing argument and suite an excellent job!Overall, I feel like I learned so much from this community unit. It opened my eyes to appreciate all the different people and moving parts that make a community work. I have a much better understanding of my role as a community member and how even kids can make a positive difference. I'm excited to be more involved, giving back, and being a good citizen of Middleton! Maybe I'll even run for mayor one day. Who knows? But for now, I'm just focused on being the best 6th grade community member I can be.篇3Unit 2 Writing ExercisesMy Summer VacationThe summer holidays are finally here! I've been counting down the days until I could take a break from school and homework. This summer is going to be the best one yet, I can feel it!First off, my family and I are going on a big vacation. We're taking a road trip across the country to visit my aunt and uncle who live out west. I'm really excited because I've never been that far from home before. The drive is supposed to take a few days, but I don't mind being stuck in the car. I packed my Nintendo Switch and a bunch of games, so I'll have plenty to keep me busy. My parents said we'll stop at interesting places along the way too, like museums and national parks. As long as we avoid too many boring historical sites, I'll be happy! When we get to my aunt and uncle's place, I'm looking forward to swimming in their huge pool and playing with their dog Rufus. He's an energetic golden retriever who always wants to play fetch. I'll have to work on my throwing arm before we leave! My cousin Emily lives nearby too. Even though she's a few years older than me, we still have fun together. She's really good at gymnastics and said she'd teach me some cool flips on thetrampoline in her backyard. I just hope I don't embarrass myself too badly. After spending a couple of weeks out west, we're heading down to the beach for the last part of our trip. We go to the same beach town every summer, but I never get tired of it. Each year I make friends with kids staying nearby, and we have incredible adventures building sandcastles, jumping waves, and exploring the tide pools to find little crabs and fish. The ocean air and endless summers days are something I look forward to all year.My favorite part of the beach though is when it gets dark and my family hosts bonfires and roasts marshmallows. We invite the neighboring families to join, and I get to run around and play nighttime games of chase and hide-and-seek on the beach with my friends as our parents sit around the fire, telling stories and laughing. Those warm, sticky summer nights are what childhood memories are made of.When our beach vacation is over, it'll be time to head back home. Summer always seems to fly by way too fast. Before I know it, I'll be back at school, restarting another year. At least I'll have new clothes, fresh supplies, and funstories to tell my classmates. Maybe I'll even maintain my confidence and bodyfrom all the swimming and running on the beach over summer. A boy can dream!I know these months will be filled with fun, adventure, and making wonderful memories with my family. Summer only comes around once a year, so we have to make the most of it! I already can't wait for next summer.篇4Unit 2 - My CommunityWriting Prompt 1: Describe your neighborhood and the different places you can go to in your community. My neighborhood is a pretty cool place to live. It's not too big or too small, just the right size. There are lots of houses on my street with families who have kids my age to play with. At the end of my street, there's a park with swings, slides, and a basketball court. That's where I hang out with my friends after school sometimes. Not too far away is the public library. I really like going there because they have so many awesome books to read! I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series and science fiction novels. The kindlibrarians are always happy to help me find new exciting books to check out.For fun, my friends and I love going to the community center on weekends. They have a big indoor pool that's open for free swim time. We can spend hours playing pool games and splashing around. Upstairs they also have a games room with ping pong tables, air hockey, and videogames. It's a blast! My favorite place in our community though is probably the ice cream shop on Main Street. They have the most delicious flavors like cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, and my all-time favorite - rocky road! Whenever I get good grades, my parents take me there as a treat. There are also some great places to shop for anything you need around town. There's a big supermarket to buy groceries, some clothing stores at the mall, and even a pet store where you can look at puppies and kittens. Our community really does have just about everything!Writing Prompt 2: What is one way you could help make your community a better place? Explain your idea.If I could do one thing to make my community an even better place, I would start a recycling program for my school. I'velearned a lot about the importance of recycling and taking care of the environment. By recycling things like plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper and cardboard, we can reduce waste and help protect nature. Here's how my idea would work: We would place separate recycling bins all around the school for different materials like plastic, metal, and paper. During lunch periods, kids could be responsible for emptying the small classroom bins into the bigger hallway bins. After school, a few student volunteers could take the full bins out to the large recycling dumpsters. To make sure everyone knows what can be recycled and where to put things, we could have a big kickoff assembly. Some other kids and I could go from class to class teaching our fellow students about the recycling procedure. We could make cool posters and flyers to hang up around the school as reminders. It would take some work to get started, but I think a school recycling program is totally doable with some effort and teamwork. Not only would we be helping the environment, but we'd be making our school more clean and green in the process.I would feel really good about myself for doing such an awesome thing for our community!Writing Prompt 3: What is a problem or issue in your community that you think needs to be addressed? What could be done to help solve it?One issue in my community that I think is really important is homelessness. Whenever I go downtown with my mom, I see many people sleeping on the streets or asking for money because they don't have homes or jobs. It makes me feel very sad and lucky to have a safe warm place to live.I think we need to open up more homeless shelters and provide services to help get these people back on their feet. A shelter could give them food, clothes, and temporary housing until they can find a job and affordable permanent housing. The shelters should have programs to help teach job skills, budgeting, and how to find apartments.Maybe kids from schools could get involved too by holding donation drives a few times a year. We could collect canned goods, warm coats and blankets, hygiene products, and other useful items to give to the homeless shelters to distribute. Or we could raise money through bake sales and car washes to help fund the shelters. The city could use some of the taxes we all pay to turn vacant buildings into shelters and hire counselors and jobtrainers to staff them. Perhaps they could work out deals with landlords to reserve some low-cost housing units for homeless people getting back to work.I know it would take a lot of effort from the whole community - the schools, the city, businesses, places of worship, and regular people. But if everyone pitched in and worked together, we could make sure nobody had to live out on the streets without shelter, food, or basic necessities. It's not right and ending homelessness should be a big priority.篇5Unit 2 Writing AssignmentMy Favorite AnimalI really love animals! If I had to pick my absolute favorite, it would definitely be dogs. Dogs are such amazing, loyal companions. They always put a smile on my face with their cute antics and boundless energy. Whenever I'm feeling down, just spending time with my dog Buddy cheers me right up.Buddy is the best dog ever! He's a golden retriever and just turned 5 years old last month. We got him from an animal shelter when he was just a tiny puppy. I'll never forget the day webrought him home - he was so small he could fit in my lap, but boy was he rambunctious! Buddy had so much energy, constantly running around and playing fetch. He also loved to cuddle up next to me when he finally got tuckered out.As Buddy got older, he got even more fun and playful. He learned all sorts of cool tricks like rolling over, shaking hands, and even dancing on his hind legs when I hold a treat up high! Buddy is really smart and loves to learn new things. Whenever I come home from school, he gets so excited, wagging his tail and jumping up to greet me. I always make sure to take him for a nice long walk or run to burn off some of his endless puppy energy.Even though Buddy is getting up there in dog years, he's still just as energetic and loving as ever. He loves to chase after squirrels and rabbits in our backyard. I have to be really careful though because sometimes he gets so focused on chasing them that he runs right into things! One time he got so excited chasing a squirrel that he barreled right through our screen door, leaving a huge hole. My parents weren't too happy about that! But it's hard to stay mad at that cute furry face for long.Whenever I'm feeling sad or having a rough day at school, Buddy always knows just what to do to cheer me up. He'll come cuddle up next to me and lick my face until I'm laughing. Dogsjust have an incredible way of sensing our emotions and knowing exactly how to lift our spirits. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing friend like Buddy in my life.More than just being fun and energetic, Buddy has also taught me so many valuable lessons about responsibility, patience, and unconditional love. Taking care of a pet like Buddy is a huge responsibility - I have to make sure he gets proper exercise, nutritious food, plenty of fresh water, and regular veterinary check-ups. Whenever I get frustrated or impatient while training him, I have to remind myself to stay calm and keep at it. Buddy is always so patient with me as I'm learning right alongside him. Most importantly though, Buddy has shown me the true meaning of unconditional love. No matter what kind of moodI'm in or how I'm acting, Buddy loves me with his whole heart. He's always so excited to see me and willing to shower me with affection and slobbery kisses. Having a bond like that with another living creature is really special. I don't know what I'd do without my best furry friend! While I of course love all animals, dogs like Buddy will forever hold a special place in my heart. They make the perfect companions - always happy, energetic, loving, and loyal to a fault.I feel so lucky to have Buddy in my life teaching me about responsibility while also bringing me more joy, laughter, and unconditional love than I ever could have imagined. If you ask me, every family should experience the blessing of having an amazing dog like Buddy!。
