Step 1、热身导入
谈话导入T: I am happy to see you again. Do you like animals? What animals do you like?（与学生展开互动）。

Step 2、呈现新知
教学hen和horse播放母鸡的声音，通过动作表情提问：What are these？引导学生回答：They’re…. 展示hen单词，点击课件，听录音，学生跟读。
师示范读音，学生再读。
然后小组读，个人读，拼读，变调读，让生快速拼读。
教师示范描述horses: Look at the horses. They’re tall and strong. They have long tails. 然后学生选择这两种动物进行描述。
教学cow教师描述一种动物：“They have long tail. They are black and white. We get milk from them. What are they?”课件呈现奶牛图片，引出新的单词cow, cows. 引导学生拼读单词。
教学sheep教师出示一只绵羊的图片，教学单词sheep。
然后在增加绵羊的数量，问：What are these? 引导学生回答：These are sheep。
用课件呈现数量、位置不同的奶牛、马、母鸡和羊的图片，与一名学生示范问答：T: What’s this/that?S: It’s a …T: What are these/those? S: They’re …然后让学生创编对话。

一、教材分析本单元的话题是“What can you do”，丰富的课外活动是学生们乐于学习和接受的，而且在A部分学生已经学会了一部分文娱活动类单词，相信他们对本课的学习充满信心。
本课是这个单元的第四课时，纵观整个单元乃至整个小学英语教学阶段，本课时的教学都起到了承前启后的作用。
二、学情分析小学生好模仿，爱表现，记忆力强，处在学习语言的最佳时期。
而且求知欲强，对新鲜事物充满好奇心，有强烈的参与欲望。
因此必须运用各种教学手段激发学生的兴趣，调动积极性。
教学时，结合教学内容，灵活运用多媒体软件，学生将会产生浓厚的兴趣。
三、教法和学法：（一）教法为了达到本课的教学目标，更好地突出重点、突破难点，根据英语新课标的要求并结合教学内容。
我主要采用的教学法是：1、注重教材知识前后知识的联系，而不是单一地讲本课的知识。
2、注重学生自我学习能力地培养，而不是一味地灌输。
3、扩大学生的知识面，能够增加的知识要适当地增加。
4、提高课堂学习效率，要记忆的词汇课堂上能记住的就在课堂上记住，不能在课上记住的也要教给他们一定的记忆方法。
5.通读教材，理解教材的编写(biānxiě)意图和知识之间的可以在教学中复现前面写知识，又可以为后面要学习的知识做铺垫。
（二）学法(xué fǎ)1. 利用自然拼读法，尽量(jǐnliàng)自己拼读单词，依靠自己多一些，依靠教师少一点。
课堂上记忆一部分单词，减轻课后的学习压力。

一、教材分析本节课使用的是PEP四年级英语下册教材。
PEP课本以激发学生学习英语的兴趣为目的，培养学生学习英语的积极态度，使他们初步建立学习英语的自信心；培养学生具有一定的语感和良好的语音、语调、书写基础，以及良好的学习习惯；使他们初步具备用英语进行简单日常交流的能力，同时培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力。
教材中适当介绍中西方文化，培养学生的爱国主义精神，为学生的进一步学习奠定良好的基础。
At the farm这个单元是本册书的第四个单元，本单元主要通过对农场里各种动物以及农作物的学习，从而展现了农场中缤纷多彩的生活。
由于我所任教的学校位于乡镇，农场这个话题对于学生来说并不陌生，单元中出现的单词也是学生们经常会接触到的东西，所以这个话题贴近学生生活，比较容易激发学生的学习兴趣，有利于教学的开展。
本节课是本单元Part B 部分的第一课时，主要学习cow,sheep,hen,horse这四个单词以及可数名词的复数形式变化和句型What are these?的练习。
本课的教学目标：1、知识目标：帮助学生能听、说、认读单词cow，horse，hen，sheep 及其复数形式。
2、能力目标：单词运用在“—What are these?—They are...”句型中进行替换练习，同时理解和掌握该句型。
3、情感目标：引导学生热爱动物，热爱大自然,借此机会渗透《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》教学重点：1、帮助学生能够熟练掌握表示动物的词汇cow，horse，hen，sheep 及其复数形式。
2、引导学生能够运用句型“These are…”需要说明的是，虽然区别these和those也是本单元的重点内容，但是由于本节课并未出现单词those，而是出现在let’s talk部分，我认为每个单元先教授let’s learn的单词，再教授let’s talk的对话更为合理，所以我计划在第二节课再帮助学生区别these和those。
