高一英语Unit 10 The world around us Reading 说课稿一、教材内容分析新大纲突出的特点是交际,强调实用为主。
本单元的中心话题是“环境保护”,内容涉及“野生动物保护”、“污染的防治”、“生活中的环保”和“环保知识宣传”等。
语言知识和语言活动的设计都是围绕“环境保护”这一中心话题展开的。
那个课时是reading 部份,主要由以下几点组成。
一、“热身”(Warming up)部份通过四幅图片导入本单元,引导学生去了解哪些动物正濒临绝种和致危因素,熟悉保护野生动物的重要性和必要性,并讨论保护濒危动物的办法和建议。
设计这一活动的目的是使学生了解濒危动物,树立保护动物、保护环境的意识。
二、“读前”(Pre-reading)部份以提问的形式导入课文,如:动植物如何彼此赖以生存?人类生存的条件和动植物生存的前提是什么?通过这项活动使学生知道人类是自然界中的一个成员,保护动植物、保护生态平衡,就是保护人类自己。
然后让学生谈谈动物在酷寒天气下求生的本领和动物独特的维持水分、摄取水分、躲避酷热、散发烧量等生存技术,使学生进一步了解动物知识,激发他们酷爱动物、保护动物的情感。
3、“阅读”(Reading)部份的材料是关于环境专家Steve Jones率领一批科技工作者对伯明翰的Green Park进行考察,他们观察到地球上许多动植物已经灭绝,还有一些正面临灭绝;接着文章分析了物种灭绝的原因;最后,专家呼吁广大民众踊跃行动起来拯救濒危的动植物,拯救一切动植物的濒危,就是为了拯救人类的濒危。
4、“读后”(Post-reading)部份的活动由两个部份组成。
第一部份要求学生在小组里讨论三个问题,其中第一个问题是针对文章的内容,要求学生能够直接简腹地回答。
对于第二、第三个问题学生需联系生活实际进行回答。
活动的第二部份围绕课文开展一些环保教育活动,要求学生列表,内容为天天做一件对环保有利的事,以培育学生环保的责任感,调动他们参与环保行动的自觉性,提高他们的人格素质。

本单元的中心话题是“环境保护”,阅读教学是单元整体教学中的重要内容。
新课标教学原则指出:高中英语课程要特别着重培养学生用英语获取信息、处理信息和传达信息的能力、分析和解决问题的能力以及用英语进行思维和表达能力。
本课时主要分为3部分:1)Pre-reading. (读前准备)2).Reading (阅读)3)Post-reading(读后)三部分均以提高学生阅读能力为主,所以将此三部分有科学地整合成一节阅读课。
2.教学目标1)认知目标:了解并掌握所学的课文内容。
使学生掌握skim和scan的阅读技巧,提高阅读能力。
2)能力目标:培养学生阅读说明性文字的能力及运用已有知识分析解决问题的能力。
3.情感目标:热爱自然,关爱动物,保护环境。
增强他们对人类社会发展的责任感和使命感。
