Unit 1 May I Speak to Kitty?单元总目标：本单元首先让学生根据各自的生活经验来观察、移动电话在生活中的应用，从而引入怎样用英语打电话，即电话用语教学，以及怎样合理使用手机的话题。
教学重难点：重点：电话用语难点：怎样在话题讨论中锻炼学生的语用能力及与人沟通的能力。
通过学习，使学生能在打电话情境中学会使用电话用语与人进行交流。
课时安排：本单元的教学共分3课时。
第一课时Part A。
第二课时Part B 。
第三课时Part C。
知识目标：一、能听、说、读、写词汇：mobile phone, make a phone call, go on the Internet, send a message, read an e-book, send an e-mail。
二、能听懂、会说、会读、会用下列句型：1. —Hello, may I speak to…?—Sorry, … is out. This is …speaking. Can I take a message?— Sure.2. —Hello! Is that…?—Yes. This is… spea king. Who is that?3. 四、听方法。
在课堂上不仅要听老师讲课的结论而且要认真关注老师分析、解决问题的方法。比如上语文课学习汉字，一般都是遵循着“形”、“音”、“义”的 研究方向；分析小说，一般都是从人物、环境、情节三个要素入手；写记叙文，则要从时间、地点、人物和事情发生的起因、经过、结果六个方面进行 叙述。这些都是语文学习中的一些具体方法。其他的科目也有适用的学习方法，如解数学题时，会用到反正法；换元法；待定系数法；配方法；消元法； 因式分解法等，掌握各个科目的方法是大家应该学习的核心所在。
• 若接电话人在就说“请稍等一下”：“Hold on ， please./Wait a minute，please!”
• 若接电话人不在就说“对不起，…不 在”:Sorry ,…is out./sorry ,…isn’t in .
电话用语的特殊用法
• 电话用语中，This is ... 表示“我 是…” • Is that...? 表示“你是…吗？” • this 指自己，that 指别人。 • Hello! This is Liu zhaoyang. Who is that （speaking）? • 你好！ 我是刘朝阳。 您是哪位？
