It is acknowledged that English is every important to our university students. I have been learning English for 8 years and really love it. I used to find it difficult to learn English. In order to have more chances to practice my English speaking and listening, I choose the English Movies and English Learning as my elective course this term.
Luckily, we have seen a plenty of original English movies. Before we saw them, our teacher often told us the introduction, background information, and wonderful sentences of the film in order to make us understand it easily and quickly. Step by step, what encouraged me most is that our teacher found a series of daily sentences and we followed her to speak it out. In my learning process, in general, English movies can bring not only audio-visual enjoyment, but also give me more real environment in different languages words materials to help me improve English communication skills.
I am an cheerful girl, I am fond of watching movies, especially comedies, which delight people。
During the class, I watched the 《Freaky Friday》、《Song of the youth》、《Robots》and so on.
That deepest film of leaving a impression on me is《Freaky Friday》。
Within the first few minutes of the movie, I rolled my eyes. I thought it was just a cliche movie about a mom and a daughter that fight a lot. I was bored. But ten minutes later, the magic began. I found my eyes glued to the massive screen, I found myself "shushing" anyone that interrupted my connection with the two stars. I was hooked, and that was that. I learned from the film that we easily judge into other people's positive and negative attitudes, but unless we put ourselves into their shoes, we will never know.
One of the deepest thoughts and feelings about the movie is 《Song of the youth》.It is a youth pursues a goal with determination.It take the youth as the master line, four shot the dance and the wonderful incomparable music through the vigor narrated a winding moving story, a group of teenage boys and girls' youth fervor performance incisive.It tells us of the song and dance youth-youth-how wonderful! Youth has never been only once, so it you and I get it, treasure, please! Youth will draw a bright light in our life's journey, the youth will be our life gives off a more dazzling light!
I was lucky I chose this course and for a long time, I really appreciate to our teacher. She provides this course to us and gives us a opportunity to contact with so many good and famous films. This class also has brought me so many benefits which let me know the method to learn English from watching English movies. I will practice, practice and also practice.。
