每一天，我们都会有新的发现，我也一样，就在我五岁的时候，我在我们小区里发现了—“新大陆”。
记得那是一个炎热的夏天，小区最南边那幢房子前面，还是一片菜地。
小区里连一只飞鸟也没有，应该是太热了，受不了，回巢了吧。
小草被晒得直不起腰，树叶们也一个个低垂着小脑袋，没精打采的。
在这样的天气下，只有几个小孩子在凉荫里玩耍，我，就是其中一个。
那最大的一片凉荫很快就被几个霸道的男孩霸占了，他们得意地看着我们，我在心里暗暗对他们说：“哼！我一定要找到一片更大的凉荫！”于是除了我在小区里到处转，其他人都挤在一片很小的凉荫里。
我在小区里转来转去，但是都没有让我满意的。
我满怀希望地朝最后一幢楼前面望去，可是我还是不满意，于是我想了想还有什么地方没找，都找过了，只有菜地那边的荫凉勉强可以。

生活需要灵感，发展需要创意，世界需要创造。
这是弥足珍贵的永恒启示。
■要创造未来，就不能依赖他人的意见
有一种管理理论认为，必须倾听顾客的意见。
史蒂夫〃乔布斯可能是第—个说这是浪费时间的商人。
今天的顾客并不总知道自己想要什么，尤其是他们从未见过、听过或接触过的东西。
当苹果要推出平板电脑的消息已经很明确时，很多人持怀疑态度。
当人们听到那个名字（iPad ），它成了微博上的笑料。
但是，当人们拿着它、使用它的时候，它成了“必不可少的东西”。
他们不知道之前没有它是怎么过的。
iPad 成为有史以来发展最快的苹果产品。
乔布斯和苹果团队信任自己胜过信任任何人。
几百年来，毕加索和其他伟大的艺术家都是如此。

■绝不要害怕失败

当下的痛苦和失败——被女朋友甩了，没得到麦肯锡的工作，在一家没有如你所愿取得成功的公司 “浪费”4年——这一切或许都为你数年之后的辉煌成功播下种子。
■倾听心底的声音，它会告诉你是否在正确的道路上
大多数人听不到心底的声音。
我们认定我们打算在金融部门工作，或者当医生，只是因为父母告诉我们要这样做，或者因为我们想赚很多钱。
当我们有意或无意做出这样的决定时，我们就扼杀了心底那个微弱的声音。
从那以后，我们大多数人就打开了“自动驾驶”键，随波逐流。
你遇见过这样的人。
他们都是好人。
但他们不会改变世界。
而乔布斯有一颗不安分的心，总是匆匆忙忙，怀着计划。
他想做计算机。
当乔布斯最初看见图形用户界面（GUI ）的例子，知道这是计算机的未来，自己必须把它造出来。
于是他最终把它创造出来了。
无论心底的声音告诉你什么，倾听它都是明智的。
■希望所有人都做到最好
我们听说过史蒂夫〃乔布斯大喊大叫、训斥雇员的事情。
我们听说，他是控制狂，是完美主义者。
关键在于，他倾听自己的激情和心底的声音。
他在乎、他希望自己做到最好，也希望所有为他工作的人都做到最好。
如果他们不在乎，他就不想用他们。
但是，他却不断地把人才吸引到身边。
为什么？因为这些人才也在乎。
有一种说法：如果你是二流人才，你就会雇用三流人才，因为你不希望他们看起来比你聪明。
如果你是一流人才，你就会雇用超一流人才，因为你希望得到最佳的结果。

那是在60年代末，个人电脑和桌面排版系统还没出现，所以一切都靠打字机、剪刀和宝丽来照相机。
这有点像平装本的谷歌，在谷歌出现35年以前。
它是理想主义的，里面有很多极棒的工具和伟大的想法。

当这本杂志走完了自己的旅程，他们出版了最后一期。

■ 只要有努力、决心和远见，凡事皆有可能
尽管史蒂夫·乔布斯是有史以来最伟大的CEO ，是现代计算机之父，说到底，他只是一个凡人。

乔布斯：一个畸形的矛盾体

乔布斯对产品内部也有一种苛刻的美学迷恋。
