社团致力于营造轻松、欢乐的英语学习氛围，定期开会分享感受和心得，增强同学之间的情感交流，让更多同学学会敞开心扉与人沟通，并尽可能多的为社员提供在公众面前表现自己的机会，让性格内向、不善交流的同学找到自信、发现乐趣。
一年来我们积极向上，蓬勃发展，多次组织与英语有关的活动，逐渐扩大了社团在同学中的影响，极大的提高了社团内部同学们学习英语的热情，逐渐成长为一个团结友爱、富有激情、互相学习的大集体。
社团构成：主席、副主席、各部门部长及副部长、若干干事和社团成员社团同时也开展了正音组、时政组、电影欣赏组、辩论组、演讲组等各种实践活动全面提高社员的英语水平管理方法：英语社举办的一系列活动，社团各部分部长先写策划书、方案交给副主席审核，确定好后交给主席签字，然后由主席交给学生会签字批准。
社团每一个月将开展一到两次社团会议，总结一个月的优缺点，取长补短。
资金来源：每个社员在进入社团将交10元的社费，同时社团还可以利用节假日让社员们自发的举行一些义卖，为社团赚去相应的社费。
活动开展与介绍：一、日常活动：1、晨读。
在专用教室，每周一至周五，早上7：008:00,下雨天除外。
晨读将分为两部分，一部分由指定的社员领读，另一部分社员读自己的资料，形成自主学习。
一般与各部部长轮流值班，开始为社员更正发音，使学员的发音标准化，然后讲词汇的记忆法和构词法，为学员扩充词汇，最后语法知识，进一步提升学员的英语水平。
2、时政交流。
会有专门人员用英语为学员讲解交流一些时事政治和新闻，这些新闻都是来自TheWashingtonPost、BBC、CNN、TheNewYorkTimes等新闻网站的热点新闻，讲解后然后相互交流自己的意见和看法进行讨论。
这样既可以提高社员的英语水平，又可以让他们多了解时事政治，也受到社员的一致好评。
3、电影展。
主要组织大家一起看英语电影，锻炼大家的听力、语感。
在电影放映之前会用专门负责人为大家先讲解电影的大概内容和一些关键文字、术语和文化背景，前期使用汉英双字幕，在大家听不懂的情况下可以看汉语字幕；中期会采用纯英文字幕，可以适当看看英文字母；后期就采用无字幕电影，不断提高社员的英语水平。
英语教学中英语电影能将学生的注意力集中起来．给学生创造语言环境，将学生平日所学通过声像直观地表达出来。
英文电影是一部讲英语国家生活、文化、风俗习惯的百科全书。
观众可以身临其境地感受它的语言、思维及文化。

4、课外实践活动。
主要是到学校附近的学校进行义务服务，为学生传授对英语的学习经验和方法，对他们进行英语口语强化培训、英语语法讲解、学习经验交流、适当和学生做一些关于英语的趣味活动，比如：词语接龙、猜词等游戏，提高学生对英语的兴趣。
5、辩论赛。
联系对英语辩论感兴趣的社员成立辩论组，会请专门的专业老师（比如上次的肖薇老师）对学员进行系统培训，讲述英语辩论的规则和技巧，使学员系统化的接受培训，培训完后会进行几场英语辩论，采用淘汰制，最终胜者就是冠军，冠军社团会给予奖励和证书作为鼓励。
现场同学积极参与，配合老师提出一系列相关问题。
老师为大家作了详细的解答，并为大家提供学习相关辩论知识的途径。
博得在场同学的阵阵好评。
此次活动，硕果颇丰，在双方愉悦的气氛中将首次活动进行得精彩纷呈。
6、英美文化鉴赏。
邀请外教对学员进行英美文化背景、生活习俗和宗教信仰等方面的介绍，提高社员对外国文化的了解和兴趣。
讲述完后留一段时间，有疑问和问题的社员可以当面提问，又外教亲自讲解。
7、英语演讲讲座。
请有关老师或者有经验的学姐学长进行演讲讲座，演讲必须拥有好的口才，把自己的优势巧妙的表达出来，既不会显得锋芒毕露，又不会显得很青涩，这是一种能力。
同学们就功能价值哲理多方面进行演讲，让同学们认识到同一事物可以从不同方面进行分析，同时让我们对选手进行评价，从选手的衣装打扮、表情身体语言以及选手应变能力等让我们对演讲有了更深刻的见解。
二、不定期活动：课外拓展:约两个月举行一次外出游玩活动，增加社团社员之间的凝聚力。
义务支教、开展英语话剧比赛、电影配音比赛、英文歌曲大赛、开展英语角等三、创新活动英语角。
经过一年的发展，我们的社团在工作中吸收了丰富的经验，有能力开展英语角，提供场所，使感兴趣的同学相互用英语自我介绍和相互交流，邀请外教与学员一对一交流，提高学员的口语能力。
英语俱乐部有英语角，我们同样可以举办，这样就形成相互竞争，提高相互的竞争力。
我觉得这样更能为广大同学服务。
话剧表演。
可以由社员提供剧本，征集一些好的剧本，组织社员分成若干组进行辅导和排练，最后比赛，我们会请专业代课老师作为评委进行打分，分数最高者为优胜者，冠军给予表扬和奖励。
另外还有电影配音比赛、英文话剧表演、英文歌曲大赛等都是可以选择开办的活动。

成立讨论小组进行意见交流6、秘书部进行活动总结欣赏欧美原声电影1、时间：每个月的最后一周周六晚上2、地点：有借到的活动教室决定3、负责人：每个部得部长轮流值班4、宣传：网宣部进行宣传和通知社员5、内容：社团讨论选择合适的电影，先由负责人大概介绍电影的内容、文化背景和讲解电影中出现的较难单词和句子，然后开始放电影。
根据时间的顺序，电影采用汉英双字幕、纯英语字幕和没有字幕提供给大家欣赏。
