因为我对阅读课的词汇如何处理,一直比较纠结,如果词汇、短语详细讲解,怕课时不够;如跳过不讲,又怕学生阅读困难,所以总是将单词进行课前或课后处理。
今天黄老师的阅读课无疑给我们指明了阅读课词汇教学的方向。
本节课的教学内容是七年级上SectionB (2b-2c )的一节阅读课,此篇文章由于篇幅长、词汇量大(黑体单词13个,白体3个),阅读中的大量词汇给教学带来了挑战,因此,如何在培养学生阅读技能和阅读习惯的同时进行有效的词汇教学,提高课堂实效是黄xx老师备课时颇具挑战的问题。
黄xx老师不愧为永嘉的英语名师,教坛名将,她的本节课课堂设计既要兼顾词汇教学的有效性,又要渗透了阅读策略。
把阅读课中的词汇教学结合阅读内容开展多层次、多角度的活动,把词汇教学与阅读教学有效结合起来,把词汇学习贯穿于阅读过程的各个环节。
今天,她把词汇在阅读前和阅读中进行处理,阅读后又设计了多个环节落实词汇,从而达到词汇教学和阅读教学的最佳效果。
那么具体她是怎么做的呢?1、阅读前她将一些较难单词和重点词汇进行处理,比如dragon boat festival./Boat race/zongzi ect/delicious/study/ American/ the United States。
这些词汇如果不在课前处理,将成为学生阅读课文并理解课文的拦路虎,且不可通过上下文推测其意的词汇。
这些词汇不处理,会影响阅读课其他环节的实施。
所以阅读前,黄xx老师采用了课文图片导出dragon boat festival./Boat race/zongzi delicious/study/ American/ the United States等词汇,并及时创设情境让学生在情境中运用这些词汇,以便及时检查教学效果。
