二、课程性质、地位和任务:大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,大学英语课程是大学生必修的一门基础课程。

大学英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。

大学英语的教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养,以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。

三、教学基本要求和方法:(一)教学基本要求1.听力能力要求:能听懂简单的日常会话和课堂用语,能听懂语速为每分钟100词左右的英语短文并理解其中心大意和要点。

2.口语能力要求:在实际交际中做到语音、语调较为自然、得体和流畅;熟悉个人、家庭、日常生活、兴趣爱好、风俗习惯、职业、节日、社交礼仪等方面的话题,并能就这些话题进行简单的会话或陈述。

3.写作能力要求:掌握描述时间、地点、方位的基本表达方式;掌握比较人、物体及事物的基本表达方式;能使用适当的语言形式进行描述和表达观点、态度和情感等;能根据特定目的有效地进行简单的文字表达。

4.阅读能力要求:能读懂语言难度一般的普通题材的文章,领会掌握一些基本的阅读技巧,掌握中心大意及主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟60词。

《英语读写》教学大纲适用专业:国际教育交流学院各专业理论学时:192 实践学时:64一.课程的性质﹑目的与任务英语教学是高等教育中高职高专教育的一个有机组成部分,根据教育部高等教育司颁布的《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》我国目前高等职业教育的教学目的是:培养高级应用性人才,英语教学应贯彻“实用为主,够用为度”的方针,既要培养学生具备必要的英语语言基础,也能强调培养学生运用英语进行涉外工作的能力。

英语教学以培养学生运用语言的能力为目标,突出教学内容的实用性和针对性。

《英语读写》课程是对外合作办学模式下的一门必修的专业基础课程。

该英语课程的教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略与跨文化交际为一体,以外语教学理论为指导,集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。

该英语课程的教学目标一方面是培养学生的阅读技能及良好的阅读习惯,提高阅读速度与理解能力,拓宽知识面,扩充词汇量和加大词汇的接触频度,增强英语语感,掌握篇章概括方法,最终达到自如地阅读日常生活中常见的英语篇章以及专业所需的科技文章阅读并且熟练运用英语;另一方面是通过本门课程的系统学习,使学生了解英语写作理论知识(即写作格式、遣词造句、修辞法、工具书的使用、句型等),合格文章的标准(即切题、连贯、简洁和长短句结合等写作技巧,以及主题句的写法、段落的结构和小结的写法等)和课业写作的形式及技巧。

读写两种技能互相为辅,相辅相成,最终达到提高学生语言应用能力的目标。

同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

二.《英语读写》和其他课程的关系本课程是一门语言技能与专业知识相结合的课程,本课程以阅读理论、写作理论和其他相关学科理论作指导,通过讲授阅读和写作方面的基本技巧以及各种交际环境中语言的正确表达方式、全方位地对学生进行阅读技巧、逻辑推理能力训练以及写作能力训练,并结合课外阅读实践,拓宽学生知识面,培养学生跨文化交际能力、阅读相关技巧的综合运用能力、认知、推理能力、独立工作能力、解决问题的能力以及相应的心理素质。

与该课程同时开设的有《英语口语》和《英语听说》。

这些课程各有侧重,相辅相成,都以培养和提高学生的英语语言能力为最终目的。

在教学辅导过程中,要注意本课程与其他相关课程的衔接、配合与分工。

自学或教学过程中应正确处理不同类型的语言技能课之间的关系。

他们既相互独立、又有交叉与重复,彼此相辅相成。

《英语口语》突出的是培养学生收集材料、选择材料并进行口头陈述的能力,有较强的专业色彩;《英语听说》突出的是培养学生的听说能力,侧重在日常生活中的口头交际能力,这三门课程所强调的侧重点有所不同,但都强调某一技能或知识的深入,能从不同的角度促进学生运用英语的综合能力的提高。

但是这三门课相互融合,相互支持,所以教学过程中既相互独立又互为补充。

本门课程对学生即将开始的专业课程学习至关重要,是专业课学习的语言基础,是课堂讨论、课堂学习、课后自学、课业完成等学习环节的必要的语言工具。

对专业课的学习和深入非常重要。

三.课程内容(含重点难点)与学时分配《英语读写》为学生提供具有丰富内涵和现实意义的语言文本和语言环境,强化英语应用能力。

教材内容涉及地理,文化,生活等方面的知识。

本课程的难点是将英语的学与用真正地结合起来,使学习者在阅读和写作能力上都得到提高。
