本课是本单元的第一课时，主要围绕人的职业singer, writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist展开一系列话题，是对前几册教材所学有关职业名称词汇的一个扩充，使学生的词汇量在原来的基础上有所提高，并能掌握多种询问职业的表达方式。
2、学情分析本课时的教学对象是六年级学生，他们富有很强的观察、归纳、总结能力。
因此，在讲授单词的过程中，应该让他们掌握更多科学记忆单词的方法。
3、教学目标（1）、知识目标：能够听、说、读、写单词singer, writer, TV reporter, actor, actress, artist能听、说、认读句型What does your father do? He is a ….（2）、能力目标：学会使用句型What does your father do? He is a….来询问和回答他人职业，并能使用句型What are you going to be? I am going to be…来询问他人和表达自己的理想。
