教师出书字母ai和r，让学生读一读，接着教师出示组合air，让学猜猜它的读音，接着跟读air的发音。
教师先让学生看澳大利亚的国旗，思考该国家的三个特点：动物有哪些，主要城市，还有运动，让学生进行小谈。接着教师让学生回顾故事完成表格，根据表格和教师给出的提示进行故事的复述，教师和同学们进行及时的反馈和评价。
