Dear editor,
My English teacher has been collecting opinions on the reform that the English test will be removed from are different.
Some students are in favor of it. They think if students can choose when and how
many times they take the exam, this reform can reduce their study pressure and change
China’s once -in-a-lifetime exam system. What’s more, they can spend more time on the
subjects that they are interested in.
However, some students think the reform wouldn’t reduce the students’ burden of learning English, because schools may reduce English classes and not be strict with English teachers. If so, their parents may ask them to attend the training class outside the school. Not only will they spend more money but also it may become a burden.
